Description
The small holiday house complex is located at the southern end of the wide sandy beach at Nikiti, in an absolutely quiet surrounding with a wonderful view across the beach and the sea. Due to the hillside location the semi-detached houses (in regional Macedonian style) are staggered on terraces in 4 rows, one after another. The semi-detached houses are built slightly offset so that the terrace of each half is sight-protected from the other.
MIRANTA is placed in the front row, directly at the sea with a wonderful view. The beautiful holiday domicile is surrounded by its own ground-level lawn, with a pergola overgrown with vines and some benches to sit on. After 50mtr and a staircase you go through very shallow water to reach the beach that is just below the holiday complex.
The two-storey semi-detached house MIRANTA is practically furnished with some modern accents. On the ground floor of the house is the living/dining area with adjoining kitchen, one small bedroom and a bath. From the livingroom and the bedroom there is direct access to the circumferential terrace and the garden where you have a wonderful sea view. From the living room (via a staircase) you get to the first floor with two more bedrooms and a bath. From each of the bedrooms you have direct access to the large, roofed terrace where you can enjoy a wonderful view acrross the sea and the bay of Nikiti. The aircondition is installed in the stairway on the first floor. Centerpiece of the domicile is at the side of the house - the roofed terrace with a BBQ area and a magificent view across the sea, the surrounding coast and the village Nikiti.
The holiday house MIRANTA and its wonderful location are ideal for an informal holiday at the sea and is especially suited for families with kids. Directly below the holiday complex, after approx. 100mtr through very shallow water you reach the beach that is connected to the wide and extensive sandy beach of Nikiti. In near vicinity you will find plenty of beautiful bays and fine sandy beaches. After another 400mtr you will find the beach bar Geranion with sunbeds and parasols at Nikiti beach. 1 to 1,5 km further south you get to the bays of Kastri and the long sandy beach of Aghios Ioannis.
The infrastructure in Nikiti gives you all amenities you need for your holiday. There are plenty of cafés and taverns along the promenade, directly at the beach. In the smaller and larger streets of the town there are many shops, supermarkets, pharmacies, bakeries and cash withdrwal machines (ATMs). The well-developed marina with a port for boats and yachts at the northern end of the town applies a special charm to the lovable village during summer time. Apporx. 2 km along the coast, in a beautifull hillside location you get to the well preserved ancient center of Nikiti with its typical Macedonian houses and the small and narrow alleys.

The location and the views are perfect. The house has good space and a beautiful terrace. It is well stocked. The showers could be better, but it a small issue in such a beautiful place.

Basically a very good place with a great private access to the sea. Exceptionally nice owner who is within reach, she also provided us with beach chairs and a parasol to take with us, and we could use a canoe. Regarding the surroundings, it must be said that despite the quieter location, one was not completely undisturbed. If, like us, you are very sensitive to noise, there are some sources of noise such as loud party music from yachts docking below and the beach noise from the large, very busy beach, depending on the wind, or various construction works by the neighboring holiday home owners. Also good to know, there are several dogs on the property, so one should not be afraid of dogs. A very kind and quiet dog from the neighbor visited us daily.

It is located directly on a small bay, which is particularly suitable for young children, as the water there is very shallow for a long way. If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is the perfect place. Everything you need is available in the house, from salt to soap to laundry detergent. The landlords are very nice.

We, a family with two small children, had a great week in mid-May in the Miranta apartment. The apartment was well equipped. We didn't miss anything. The sea for swimming was right at the doorstep. A very beautiful sandy beach is only a few minutes away. About a 5-minute bike ride. There was a beautiful sunset every evening, which you could watch from the rooftop terrace or one of the terraces in front of the house. The apartment is located slightly outside of Nikiti and it was very peaceful for us. You should have a car or bicycles. Otherwise, the distances are quite long but doable. The landlords were very friendly and helpful. We were given water and two glasses of honey upon arrival. We can very well imagine coming back here for a vacation.

The size, location, and view of the house are fantastic. Every evening you can experience the spectacle of a sunset. It's a dream. The outdoor area of the house is also very spacious with various seating and lounging options, several sun umbrellas, etc. A very beautiful beach is only a 5-minute walk away. You can walk comfortably to the village with many nice restaurants and bars in just under half an hour, and other beautiful beaches and excursions can be easily reached by car from the village in 10 to 20 minutes.

A truly wonderful house. Nice owners who take great care. Especially for families with children, a great place! A friendly dog and cats add to the children's entertainment. A bit off the beaten path from Nikiti, you can see the bay of Nikiti and the beautiful sunset from the terrace. A great house to relax and spend a lot of time in the sea - what more do you need.

Bella casa, spaziosa, in zona silenziosa, con splendida vista. perfettamente corrispondente alle foto. Dotata di tutto il necessario in cucina. Disponibilita di lavatrice e anche asse da stiro. Check in perfetto. Molto disponibile per qualsiasi richiesta. Perfetta per raggiungere le belle spiaggie della parte ovest, ma in 15-20 di macchina min si raggiungono anche quelle della parte est. Accesso al mare da una scaletta, dove ci è stata resa disponibile una canoa. Cena con splendida vista sul tramonto. Al mattino colazione con vista su un mare super blu. Consigliatissimo.

The landlords were extremely friendly, accommodating, and child-friendly. The overall complex of houses built in Macedonian style is fantastically situated above the sea. A magnificent natural theater! However, it is also true that there is a backlog of renovation, which another reviewer from Münster had already pointed out in 2018. In the five years since then, it seems that nothing has changed. One or two nails on the wall for hanging clothes and an additional wardrobe in the small ground floor room would be helpful. Nevertheless, we would like to return, even though the hot water was out for several days (particularly unpleasant with small children). But that can always happen.

A very beautiful house. Nice owners who take care of you in a touching way. Especially for families with children a great place! A nice dog and cats do the rest to keep the children busy. A bit out of Nikiti, you look from the terrace to the bay of Nikiti and the beautiful sunset.

Wonderful house, spectacular view, nice neighbours. There is no kettle or hairdryer, but there is everything you need for a nice holiday. A car is required. A really quiet holiday location, away from this very busy corner of Greece.

We enjoyed the two weeks in the house very much. The furnishings are simple and functional, in keeping with the price range. Priceless, however, is the location. Situated a little outside or above Nikiti, the entire bay lies at your feet as a panoramic picture. It's great cinema and simply gorgeous. If you want to refresh yourself quickly, you only have to go down a stone staircase and you are in shallow water with a sandy bottom. A canoe was also available. The beautiful "house beach" Small Kastri (sand/pebble) is somewhat hidden on the other side of the hill, a 5-minute walk away. A little further south, there is bay after bay with fantastic beaches, such as Kalogria Beach, about 5 km away. Everything is still very relaxed in May before the season starts. This also applies to Nikiti itself, where the calm before the storm still reigned. For shopping, however, you should have a rental car. The big supermarkets (incl. Lidl) are on the main road a little off the coast. Michalis and his family are kind-hearted people who take great pleasure in looking after the house and guests. We can unreservedly recommend the house for guests who want to really switch off. We will definitely come back again.

The outdoor area of the house is also very spacious with various seating and sunbathing options, several parasols, etc. A very nice beach is only a 5-minute walk away. The village with its many nice restaurants and bars is a pleasant half-hour walk away, and other beautiful beaches and excursion destinations can be reached easily from the village in 10 to 20 minutes by car.
