Description
The accommodation consists of 6 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and 3 toilets.
On the ground floor (105 m²) there is the living room, with a comfortable sofa, flat screen TV, air conditioning and a fully equipped modern kitchen.
The living room door leads directly to the terrace.
The blue and the green room are equipped with 2 beds 90x200, which can be put together to form a large bed 180x200, a bathroom, air conditioning and a flat screen TV.
Between the two bedrooms a corridor with toilet and a washroom with washing machine and dryer.
The terracotta room is equipped with a double bed 160x200, a bathroom with WC, air conditioning and flat screen TV.
A corridor and a Japanese staircase lead to the first floor (75 m²). Completely furnished in wood in chalet style, you will find a living room with sofa, air conditioning, flat screen TV and a fully equipped modern kitchen. Walking up three steps you will reach the sleeping area, also made of wood. You will find 3 bedrooms, each with a 160x200 bed, air conditioning and a flat screen TV. The bathroom and toilet are separate and independent.
Bed linen, cleaning fee and WIFI are included in the service.
Outside you will find a very large paved terrace with tables and chairs for 12 people and more, a barbecue (plancha), deckchairs, parasol, table tennis
A very large garden with trees, flowers and grass surrounds the terrace as well as an illuminated pétanque area.
There is a parking place for 6 cars in the courtyard and a covered space for motorbikes or bicycles.
With a minimum stay of 3 days, you can enjoy one or two days at our private lake in the middle of the forest, only 4 km from the cottage.

Location and surroundings of object
"Le Clos Ô Daims" is ideally situated on the edge of the box forest in Widensolen, a small village in the centre of Alsace between the Black Forest and the Vosges mountains. The beautiful tourist town of Colmar, famous for its Christmas market, the Unterlinden museum and little Venice, is only 12 km away.
You can also visit the very beautiful villages of Riquewihr, Eguisheim, Kaysersberg or even take the wine route by car or bike, discover the castle of Haut Koenigsbourg, the stork park, the eagle flight ...
45 minutes by car, you will find the biggest amusement park in Europe "Europa-Park" and its new water universe "Rulantica".
Basel-Mulhouse airport 64 km.
The city of Strasbourg and its cathedral are 60 km away.

Cancellation terms:
- You will be refunded half of the booking amount minus the cancellation fee, if you cancel the booking at least 7 days before the planned check-in until 12 o’clock midday CET (Central European time). For cancellations which are made less than 7 days before check-in there will be no refund.

Le Clos Ô Daims is a former hunter's house, which we were able to buy in 2019. The gîte was completely redesigned, built, renovated and decorated by us. After 18 months of work, in July 2020, we were able to rent the house for the first time. Today we are proud of the result and the comments of our guests.

Ideal for a large family
We could not have found a more ideal place for our large family for a week's holiday.
Cathy and Patrick are wonderful hosts and responsive to all concerns.
The house with the great pool are top equipped, the garden safe and spacious even for small children.
Parents and grandparents can relax. The absolute highlight is of course the lake, which we were generously offered to use. Thank you very much for a wonderful week.

Family Weekend in Alsace
This holiday home met or exceeded all expectations.
We spent a family weekend here and were thrilled.
It is very spacious and no expense was spared on the furnishings
The garden and courtyard/terrace are ideal for children and adults.
The landlords, Patrick and Cathy, are very friendly and responded to our wishes.
It is a bit on the outskirts of the village, right next to the forest, but that didn't bother us.
