The castle, the market square with its historic half-timbered houses, and the spa park with beer garden in summer invite you and are just a few minutes’ walk away.

We are also happy to offer companies a cozy accommodation for their employees and fitters with 3 bedrooms.
Bikers are welcome.

Location and surroundings of object

The holiday home is centrally located below the castle.
It is only about 300 m on foot to the market square with its historic half-timbered houses and several restaurants.

You will find a grocery store about 200 m away.
All shops are within walking distance in just a few minutes. There is also a veterinarian in the immediate vicinity. Enjoy pure nature on the many kilometers of marked hiking and cycling trails or visit the numerous sights nearby such as the Goethe city of Wetzlar with Leica World,
the residence city of Weilburg with castle and castle garden,
the Weilburg wildlife park with moose, wolves, and bears,
the cathedral city of Limburg,
the Hessenpark open-air museum in Neu-Ansprach, the Roman fort Saalburg, or the Opel Zoo in Kronberg,
Frankfurt with its numerous sights. On a canoe trip, you can enjoy the landscape from the water.

In the event of early termination of the stay, the tenant remains obliged to pay the full rental price. In this case, no refund will be made by the landlord. If travel is prohibited due to legal regulations, the cancellation fees do not apply.

Simply a great house

We were very warmly welcomed by Mrs. Palm, everything is there in the cozy house, even Christmas lights and decoration. ❤️ Everything is near the supermarket, bakery, and also the castle. The house is located in a quiet environment. With many hikes in nature. We had a great stay.

Very beautiful holiday home

In this holiday home, everything is as stated in the description and visible in the pictures. The rooms are very clean and furnished with a lot of love. The garden by the house is very well maintained. This holiday home is located in a very quiet residential area; from the terrace, there is a beautiful view of the castle, which is particularly lovely in the evening. Dining and shopping options are available. The amenities left nothing to be desired for us. The host is very nice and always available when you need her.

Wonderful house (Magnificent location)

We rent this house every time we come to Braunfels (we rent this house every time we come to Braunfels).

Perfect for a family vacation

We were very kindly welcomed by Ms. Palm, and the communication beforehand was smooth. We spent a few lovely days in Braunfels; the castle and the beautiful old town are easily reachable on foot. We felt very comfortable in Braunfels and in this really large holiday home. Everything one needs was available, and it was very clean. If we should find ourselves in Braunfels again, we would love to return, clear recommendation!

Short vacation

This is a beautiful holiday home located below the small old town and the castle (a 10-minute walk). It is very well equipped with all sorts of kitchen appliances, a large shower, and two toilets, as well as a terrace with 2 small sun umbrellas and a view of the castle. The owners have lovingly furnished it, and everything that might be needed is available, including candles with a lighter, kitchen roll, enough toilet paper, etc. Communication with Mrs. Palm went smoothly, so there would be nothing standing in the way of another stay if we were to go to Braunfels again. A really very beautiful holiday home.

Perfect for multi-generational stays.

House Martha is great for our multigenerational stay. As a grandma, I used the bedroom with a separate sink. In the parents' bedroom, there is a crib for the grandchild. Our friendly host even provided us with a high chair and cookies and accommodated our special requests. THANK YOU!
The rustic kitchen has everything you need as a self-caterer. We all fit around the dining table with corner bench. The living room is modernly furnished, the armchairs and sofa are comfortable.
The key safe at the house is very practical: with a previously communicated PIN, we were able to move into the accommodation immediately after our arrival.
We will definitely come back!

Lovingly maintained holiday home

A wonderful holiday home where we are always welcome with our four-legged friend and are warmly welcomed by the friendly hosts.

The holiday home is comfortably furnished, everything you could wish for is available, and it has a lovingly maintained garden with a beautiful terrace. There is also seating for two people in front of the front door, so that the rays of the sun can be enjoyed at any time.
The house has a central location in Braunfels, short distances to the center, to the sights, and to the forest, and shopping opportunities can also be reached on foot.

There was nothing missing. Good beds, rooms to darken, large good TV.
Very nice landlady, who also had a delicious welcome jam ready.
There was even a home bar. It was also delicious in the brewery within walking distance.
The surroundings are very hilly, without e-bikes/pedelecs, nothing works.

Very appealing

-Very clean and well maintained, beautiful garden with terrace

Great quiet location.

With 2 friends we rented this house for a week to make motorcycle tours from here. The house was great, fully furnished and everything is present, also in the kitchen (although it is a bit small). The house has a terrace on one side and a private parking space on the other side. Located in a residential area, but nice and quiet. Within walking distance (a few hundred meters) of a supermarket, and Lidl a bit further but also within walking distance. Various restaurants can also be reached on foot. In short, this house is highly recommended in a beautiful area.
