Description
We took over the holiday home from our predecessor in December 2019 and began gradually renovating and modernizing it from May 2020 onwards.
The detached house and the 210 m² plot are surrounded by a stable fence 130 cm high.
An open kitchen is integrated into the living/dining area. From the gas stove to the microwave with grill function, toaster, sandwich maker, soda maker, and coffee machines (Senseo & filter machine), to dishes, pots, pans, and tea infuser, everything is available so that you can conjure up a great meal for yourself and your loved ones.
The living/dining room offers all the amenities to ensure that even on a rainy day, there is no chance of boredom. A cozy couch (which can also be used as a sofa bed), satellite TV with German channels & Blu-ray player, board games for young and old, coloring books for the little ones, info tablet with all essential information. From the weather to internet radio to a map we created where you can find routes through the dunes to the beach, activities in the area tested by us, shopping options and much more. The master bedroom is furnished with a continuous double bed measuring 200x200 cm. There is also a nightstand and a wardrobe. The youth/children’s room is equipped with a 90x200 cm bunk bed and a dresser.
Shower room and toilet are separate from each other and each accessible individually.
The terrace area features an electric awning, sun umbrella, charcoal grill, and of course also garden furniture and garden loungers. Nothing now stands in the way of a cozy barbecue evening under the open starry sky.
The park is open and spaciously designed, so your neighbor can't look at your plate. There are several playgrounds, table tennis, and volleyball/badminton courts on the park grounds. Table tennis paddles/balls, badminton and softball rackets, as well as various outdoor games, are of course available in the house and can be used by you at any time. Two mountain bikes (26 & 29 inch) are also available for your use free of charge.
Up to 2 dogs are warmly welcome with us. Unfortunately, the park regulations do not allow 3 or more dogs. Food and water bowls, dog toys, waste bags, as well as 2 dog beds are available in the house.
In the immediate vicinity there is a climbing/adventure park as well as a tropical swimming pool, restaurants, and shopping facilities. Everything can be reached on foot within a few minutes.

The holiday home is situated in a quiet location by the tulip fields of Sint Maartenszee/Sint Maartensvlotbrug (Belkmerweg) and is an ideal starting point for walks, bicycle/mountain bike tours
2 parking spaces for cars are available directly in front of the house
Within a short time you are on the feeder road (N9) towards Alkmaar or Den Helder.

We felt very comfortable!
The bed has a great mattress, so we slept wonderfully. Due to the weather, we couldn't really use the garden, but for the few minutes of sunshine, the sun loungers were very comfortable. And for our dog, everything was really available from bowls to beds to toys and poop bags, so we hardly had to bring anything except food. The park is very quiet and is probably mostly used by owners themselves, meaning it is not rented out. We liked the peace. Very practical also the e-charging station in the park, where we could charge the car almost right at the front door. A small children's playground and a pétanque court are also available.
The contact with Mr. Klose was super uncomplicated; he personally welcomed and said goodbye to us and had many tips ready for us.
The area is highly recommended for a quiet vacation with a dog. Within walking distance, there is a (very small!

Quietly located holiday home
We spent our vacation there during the summer holidays of 2025.
The holiday home is very well equipped and nothing is missing.
The landlord is very accommodating and friendly.
The house is located in a quiet park with several small playgrounds.
Since the garden is completely fenced, a vacation with a dog is super relaxed.
That was certainly not the last time we were there.

Those who want to spend a quiet and beautiful week are in the right place here. We had a lovely week with our 2 dogs. The location is nice and fenced. The beaches are nearby. There is also a dog beach. The landlord is accommodating and tries to help immediately with any problems. All in all, we felt comfortable. Again and again, gladly.

Anyone who wants to spend a quiet and beautiful week is in the right place here. We had a lovely week with our 2 dogs. The location is nice and fenced. The beaches are nearby. We were 4 adults.
We 4 were a little disappointed about the cleanliness in the house, and the description states that the bathroom was renovated. We didn't see anything of that!!!!
The windows in the two bedrooms should be replaced; it was quite windy that week, and it draft through the windows. We put towels in front of them.
I myself slept on the couch in the living room; in winter, no problem, but in summer, a curtain or something is missing there.
