The holiday home Küstenkind is located in the heart of the town of Heide
With its 135 sqm, the detached house offers enough space for a great holiday on the North Sea coast.
The 3 lovingly furnished bedrooms invite you to dream. Each is furnished with a double bed, wardrobe and TV.
Another smaller room with a single bed and built-in wardrobe offers additional space.
The large living and dining area is equipped with a cosy sofa, flat-screen TV and a generous dining set. A wood-burning stove spreads a feeling of warmth and cosiness in the cooler seasons. Wood for this is available in sufficient quantity.
On the upper floor is the light-flooded bathroom with bathtub (shower facility), washbasin and WC. A hairdryer is also available.
The kitchen is equipped with a large work surface, sink, ceramic hob, oven, kettle, coffee machine, microwave, toaster. There is also enough cutlery, crockery and basic equipment for daily needs. In the adjoining HWR there is a large side-by-side fridge-freezer combination, washing machine, dishwasher, sink and an additional small guest toilet
From the HWR you have direct access to the covered terrace. The lovingly designed terrace with comfortable garden furniture offers you enough space for relaxed barbecue evenings and a great view of the large garden. Here you will find many fruit trees on 700 sqm and a lot of space to play with the children. Dogs are also very welcome here!
There is space for two cars in the driveway right next to the house
For the journey with baby there is of course a cot, high chair, baby bouncer.

The house is located in the centre of Heide, within a 5-minute walk you are directly in the beautiful pedestrian zone of Heide with one of the largest market places in Germany.
Start your holiday with an extensive stroll through the town, or enjoy one of the delicious coffee specialities in the café "Alte Gärtnerei Österreich", surrounded by idyllic birdsong and sheep.
The train station, which offers a direct connection to Sylt, is also within walking distance. Various shopping facilities, pharmacies and restaurants are in the immediate vicinity. Just across the street is a bakery offering fresh rolls, bread, cakes, eggs and a small selection of cheese, cold cuts and magazines
Heide offers plenty of entertainment even in typical North German "sluggish weather". A trip to the adventure swimming pool, the bowling alley, the leisure centre "Gandy's" or even a cinema evening at the "Lichtblick"
But also the great coastal regions like Büsum (20km) or St. Peter Ording (40km) can be reached quickly by car, for a perfect day by the sea.

Very nice time in a very nice holiday home
Thank you for 11 beautiful days in a holiday home that simply has everything to offer.
Everything was very clean, well equipped and the highlight was of course the huge fenced garden and the infrared sauna.

Beautiful accommodation
We were here for the second time. You only come back if it was nice. The house is lovingly furnished and the garden is very well maintained, fenced and therefore ideal for our two dogs.
We felt very comfortable. For breakfast, there were fresh rolls from the bakery across the street. Heide is nice for strolling and shopping. All excursion destinations can be quickly reached by car. For hikers, we recommend the Süderholmer Moor and the Riesewohld.
We will be back!

Accommodation to feel good
Uncomplicated, nice contact and very friendly welcome in the tastefully furnished cottage with garden and covered sunny terrace. Baker's shop right across the street and only a few minutes walk to the city center - there is a good selection of shops and a great market with many stalls.
We recommend a trip to St. Peter Ording - the wide sandy beach is impressive and not far from the Westerhever lighthouse.

Super friendly, everything was as agreed and even a spontaneous change in the number of people was responded to very kindly.
The price-performance ratio is just right.
The rooms were all very well equipped and everything was explained perfectly.

Great object with great amenities.
We were six people in this property and we didn't miss anything. The equipment was great, the city of Heide is really nice and the surroundings have a lot to offer. For example, we went go-karting in Büsum, visited the seal rescue station in Friedrichskoog, and went to the beach in Sankt Peter-Ording. Everything is not far away. And even if you want to relax, there is a great garden where you can unwind properly. Definitely recommendable.

Hello dear holidaymakers, i am Sarah Herbst and a true coastal child. I spent my childhood and youth in Heide, so Büsum, St.Peter Ording and the Meldorfer Bucht are places that I love and that awaken fond memories in me. In December I bought an old detached house and made it my home with a lot of love, work, time, money and tears. In life, things always turn out differently than you think and shortly afterwards I met my husband, had a daughter and had to move to the beautiful city of Schwerin for work reasons. So the idea of offering our cottage to holidaymakers came up quickly and that was a great decision for us, great people from all over Germany, the feedback, the gratitude are all things that motivate us to continue renting to holidaymakers. We don't have an agency and do all the cleaning, handover, rental contracts etc. ourselves Thus our small family business :)
