Can Xargay is a millennial traditional catalan house of XI century with a special charm situated in the village of Mata. Restaurants and shops are situated in a walking house is situated 2 km. from Banyoles lake, only 35 km. from the beach (Costa Brava), 25 km. from the International Airport of Girona-Costa Brava and 115 km. from Barcelona city.
It is located in a privileged place since it lays between the sea and the mountains.
The whole house has got one independent apartment for 10/16 persons - there is the possibility to increase this number - with 8 bedrooms (one is for handicapped access), 6 bathrooms, a kitchen, a dinning-room, a living-room with TV satellite (international channels) and DVD, a reading room, a fireplace, a games room. Besides, there are a barbecue in the garden with a covered porch and a heated private swimming-pool with an hidromassage bench only for you, you don't have to share it. ADSL by free WIFI accessIt is appropriate to spend some days with the friends, family reunions, partying, birthdays… or just to spend some calm and break days The perfect situation of the house allows you to do several excursions around Pla de l’Estany by bike or on foot, through the lake surroundings declared of natural interest. You can also visit Girona province since the house lays in the centre of it. Also, there are horses 2 km. far.

Location and surroundings of object

There is an airport 25 km. far, in Girona, but there is another situated in Barcelona (115 km. far).To come here, you can take the AP-7 (E-15) motorway sixth leaving going on direction to Banyoles.
There are 9 km. of main road (C-66).
After, you should take the road which goes on direction to Mata - Banyoles Sud (C-150a) and at the first traffic light that you find, you should turn right.
Nearly 100 metres you will find the house. It is situated at the left of the Mata´s church, near the prohibited direction road signal. Bicycle routes, by horses, on foot, by "tren pinxo", in the sky (ballon), adventure sports, Pla de l´Estany parties, the Costa Brava, the you can find all this and more in Can Xargay.

She loves learning foreign languages but she also likes welcome you to the house and she explains to you all the activities that you can do in the area. Sílvia is biologist, cheerful and hardworking.
