Description

The holiday home is sheltered at the back in a private garden. All rooms are on the ground floor and the layout is as follows: a cosy furnished living room with TV and garden door to the sunny terrace, small separate kitchen with kitchen inventory, microwave, refrigerator, gas cooker, bedroom with vanity and two single box-spring beds, bedroom with single bed, separate toilet, separate shower. All rooms are centrally heated. Bicycles can be stored in the adjacent garden shed.

Location and surroundings of object

The house can accommodate a maximum of four people. It is located on a quiet avenue, in the back garden of the house owner. From the house there are about 300 meters to the forest and the adjacent dunes. The cozy town center of Bergen there are walking about 10 minutes. The holiday home is protected in the backyard of the house owner. All rooms are at ground level.

Pure relaxation in a natural idyll

Such a beautiful little house near the center. Just great! Irmgard and Ed are very nice landlords. We felt comfortable from the very first moment. The house is well-kept, very clean, and spacious. We enjoyed the outdoor area with comfortable loungers in nice weather and even after long bike rides. We will definitely come back.

Very beautiful :-)

We have been to Bergen more often, because we like the mixture of the beautiful place, the easy accessibility of the beach in Bergen an See by bike and also to Alkmaar or Schoorl you can make nice little bike trips. We particularly liked the cottage this time: It is nicely light and cosily furnished, you could sit on the terrace very nicely and because of the garden you had a lot of privacy and the whole thing within walking distance to all possible restaurants in Bergen. In addition, the hosts were very nice and we simply had a wonderful holiday! Thank you for that :-)

Jewel in the mountains

Four days, three friends, and we were able to spend a very relaxed and rejuvenating time at Bos en Duin. We were truly delighted by the beautiful little cottage of Irmgard and Ed. The LEIJEN family is very helpful and very friendly. The cottage is very bright and cozy due to the large windows. It was quiet, the garden was lovingly designed, and the house was equipped with everything you need. The kitchen is very well equipped. There is a gas stove, toaster, and much more.... The beds were very comfortable and the bed linen very clean. Bergen center can be reached in a few minutes on foot. We will definitely come back to this gem and spend our vacation. Beautifully situated holiday home in Bergen!

We were able to relax wonderfully in the beautifully furnished holiday home of the Leijen family. The apartment is very cozy, bright, and friendly, and the garden offers many beautiful seating options. The Leijen family was very friendly and helpful. Bergen and its beautiful surroundings offer everything for a great holiday: nature, culture, sea, and of course cycling.

Perfect, relaxing holiday in Bergen, North Holland

We were able to spend a very pleasant vacation in a warmly furnished holiday home. The host family was very friendly, accommodating, and helpful. We lacked nothing.
The house is located in a quiet residential area not far from the equally cozy center of Bergen. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can only recommend this vacation home! Cycling in Holland is highly recommended.

Lovingly furnished, cozy holiday apartment in a quiet location with a view of the mountains.

We felt completely comfortable. The apartment is lovingly furnished and cozy. The garden is designed so that you have a small, private area for yourself. You can eat outside at the table, sit on a bench, or lie on a sun lounger. There is space in a small shed for your own bicycles. The landlords are very sympathetic and helpful. In terms of equipment, we did not miss anything. The location is beautiful. The neighborhood is very green and quiet. You can easily reach the center of Bergen on foot. In town, you can rent bicycles. There are various restaurants where you can eat very well and many shopping opportunities. Bergen is well connected by bus. We tested the routes to the beach and to Alkmaar. It was no problem to travel to Amsterdam by public transportation. The apartment is a good location to start various types of holidays from here.

Sehr helle Ferienwohnung

We not only had a beautiful week but also very nice hosts. Bergen is a very green and lovable place. Small shops, restaurants, pubs, and a supermarket can be found in the town (around 10 minutes walking from the holiday apartment). The surroundings are very diverse and can be explored well by bike.
We didn't miss anything in the holiday apartment. The sanitary facilities are not up to date. But that also gives the charm of this very bright apartment. All in all, everything was good.

Kleines, aber feines Ferienhaus

We stayed as a family in the holiday home of the nice family Leijen. Our motto for the house in the garden was always "small but nice!" Whether alone, as a couple or with four people, you can feel comfortable there. The house is located in a beautiful settlement, not far from the village center of Bergen. There is a shelter for bicycles right by the house. The beach is a few kilometers away, but easily reachable by bike. We are considering coming back to the beautiful mountains and would gladly recommend the accommodation.

Eine herrliche Woche im Oktober

A great holiday week we (a friend and I) spent in this cozy furnished holiday cottage. The house is equipped with everything you need for daily life. In the kitchen, there is a stove, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, an electric citrus press - and pots, pans, and dishes are available in large numbers. There is no oven, but we did not miss one. The cottage is located in a quiet residential area in the garden of the very nice landlords. :-) (In about 15 minutes, you can reach the center of Bergen on foot.) However, due to a large hedge in front of the holiday home, you still have complete privacy. The living room is very cozy and has two very large windows, which flood the room with light. In the summer, you can extend an awning on the south side to prevent the living space from heating up too much, and of course, you can also sit outside in the shade. On the terrace, there is a table with 4 chairs, as well as a wooden bench and a small table. We were lucky with the weather, but as it gets cold quickly in the evenings in October, we had to turn on the heating in the evening. However, within a short time, the rooms were nice and warm. In short. . . we had a great time and absolutely enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back. Greetings to our landlady Irmgard and her husband, we can highly recommend your holiday home! Bike rental near the beach

For many years, our path leads us to the summer retreat and Easter time again and again to Bergen to these tastefully furnished holiday bungalows. The house is a small oasis of well-being to switch off from everyday life and has everything you need. Once the car is parked, we only use the bike to get around Bergen and to the beach. The hosts are extremely warm and helpful and always have good tips ready for interesting trips. The place itself offers a special artist flair and entices visitors with its weekly markets for shopping and then for a cozy meal in the restaurants around the church square.
