Description

The holiday home offers everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Here you can relax and have an excellent starting point for your activities. The cosy furnishings and the new, well-equipped kitchen mean that you won't miss the comfort you are used to on holiday.
The 300 m ² large property is completely fenced and the parking space for car or motorbike is directly in front of the property. It is in a top location, dogs are welcome!

Our holiday home is located directly on the edge of the forest, on the International Cycle Route R1 in an absolutely quiet location. It therefore offers an ideal starting point for cycling tours, mountain bike tours and, of course, hikes in the beautiful Harz Mountains.
Popular excursion destinations are the Brocken (also accessible by the Harzquerbahn), the Steinerne Renne, the Mönchsbuche, the Plessenburg forest inn and the Ilse Falls. The hiking trails to Wernigerode and Ilsenburg or to the Brocken are well signposted. Wernigerode, the 'colourful town on the Harz' with its half-timbered old town, neo-Gothic castle and town hall, or Ilsenburg are only 5 minutes away by car
Other excursion tips include the Hexentanzplatz in Thale with its summer toboggan run, the cathedral treasures in Halberstadt and Quedlinburg, the Western Town in Hasselfelde, the stalactite caves in Rübeland, the Rappbode Dam or the Regenstein castle ruins in Blankenburg.

There are two tennis courts and a forest swimming pool in the immediate vicinity. But the 1000-year-old monastery in Drübeck, which lies on the Romanesque Road, is also within easy reach.
There are good shopping facilities and a doctor's surgery in the village.

Location and surroundings of object

Our holiday home is located in the immediate vicinity of the forest, on the International Cycle Route R1 in an absolutely quiet location. It is an ideal starting point for cycling tours, mountain bike tours and, of course, hikes in the beautiful surroundings, where there are two tennis courts and a forest swimming pool. Darlingerode,
a state-recognised health resort, lies at an altitude of 300 m in a very idyllic location on the northern edge of the Harz Mountains, directly at the foot of the Brocken, on the L 85 between Ilsenburg and Wernigerode.
There are good shopping facilities and a doctor's surgery in the village

Wonderful holiday accommodation

We felt comfortable from the first minute. Very nice, super clean holiday home with loving design down to the smallest detail. We didn't miss anything. Perfect for 2 people. Cozy furniture on the terrace where you can sit for hours and enjoy the peace. It was just perfect and we will come back! The arrival and departure were completely uncomplicated. Very nice holiday home and nature right at the door.

The holiday home is very lovingly and tastefully furnished, complete down to the smallest detail. It really didn't lack anything. Even small items like salt and pepper shakers are available. A very nice, well-kept property with terrace, garden, and fencing. An uncomplicated arrival and departure. The landlord is always approachable and helpful, top! We felt very comfortable from the beginning. The location is fantastic. If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is the perfect place. An ideal starting point for hikes, directly situated by the forest. We enjoyed our holiday to the fullest.

Beautiful holiday home in a dream location.

It was a great vacation. Everything was perfect and as described. We felt very comfortable, and our dogs loved it too. Everything was super clean, had everything we needed, and a great location for exploring on foot and also close to places where you just need to hop in the car for a short drive. We will gladly come back.

This house is super equipped. You really have everything you need. The landlords are super nice and helpful. The place is very quiet as described, which is great for relaxing. Direct access to the forest or hiking. Great overall package. Would love to come back. Best regards.
