There are many accommodations available on the web. However, if you are looking to book a beautiful holiday home at a reasonable price, we have an unbeatable offer for you. It will be difficult to find accommodation in the area around Malbork (Marienburg) with a better value for money.
We would like to present our holiday home, which we lovingly renovated and equipped in 2020. From teaspoons to a television, everything is new. About 48 square meters of living space, around 700 square meters of garden, and a parking space are available to you in the immediate vicinity of the lake. 16 sqm terrace and approx. 1000 sqm plot at your disposal. Parking is, of course, free for you. In the large bright living room, you can use a 49-inch TV with satellite connection and German channels. A Bluetooth-capable soundbar and Wi-Fi complete the entertainment options. A large WOOD-BURNING STOVE creates a romantic atmosphere. If you want to relax, feel free to stretch out on the comfortable sofa. Through a wide terrace door, you step from the living room into the garden. There awaits you a large cozy TERRACE where you can enjoy the sun and sunsets. Existing garden furniture invites you to dine and chill on the terrace. A large grill fireplace is also available for you in the garden. If you don't want to grill, you can use the kitchen connected to the living room to prepare food. There you will find everything you need for cooking and baking. An oven with a ceramic hob and extractor hood helps you prepare your favorite dishes. To make cleaning up after meals not take too long, you can use the available dishwasher. Our bathroom is small but modern and equipped with a shower. It was redone during the basic renovation in 2020 and we are really pleased with its design. Just like the bathroom, our two bedrooms are quite small. However, we have spared no effort and expense to ensure that you as our guests can sleep well during your vacation. Our beds are very comfortable. Pillows and comforters are also of the highest quality. You have the option to watch TV in each bedroom. It is important for us that you know that access to the second bedroom is through the first bedroom. Duvets and pillows are available in the house; you should bring your own bed linen and towels from home. The beds are the following sizes: 160 x 200 cm and 140 x 200 cm. Duvets are 140 cm wide. Pillows are 80 x 80 cm in size.
Our property is completely fenced in, so if you visit us with your pet, you can let them run freely without worry.

Location and surroundings of object
The vacation home is located in Poland (Polska) in the city of Sztum (Stuhm), east of the Vistula Delta on the Eylau Lake District. It is situated on a very quiet side street approximately 5 meters straight line from the lake. A lakeside resort is about 1.5 km from the holiday house. Beach with fine sand, large pier, and a small bistro are available there for your use. Additionally, you can rent canoes and boats during the summer season. The rental also has many modern SUP boards for stand-up paddling.
The town of Sztum (Stuhm) is not a spa town, but you can use a graduation tower (saline) here for free. The salty air has a positive effect on your respiratory tract.
From the holiday home, you can walk not only to grocery stores and restaurants but also to the main attractions of the town of Sztum.
Cycling enthusiasts will not be bored with us either. Numerous cycling routes pass through Sztum and its surroundings. The most popular of these is the European cycle route R1, also known as Euroroute R1. It connects London with Moscow and not only passes through Berlin and Saint Petersburg, but also along the waterfront promenade bordering our property.
The grocery store is only 450 meters from our holiday home. The store is called Zabka (Frog) and is open Monday-Saturday from 6 am to 11 pm; on Sunday, you can shop there from 11 am to 7 pm. You can see the Teutonic Order castle directly from our property.
The town of Stuhm has about 10,000 inhabitants and is idyllically nestled between Lake Zajezierskie (also called Hintersee or Stuhm Lake) and Lake Barlewickie (Barlewitzer Lake). It is a historic city that was the summer and hunting residence of the Grand Master of the Teutonic Order in the past. In the castle, you can already get a taste of a visit to the largest brick castle in Europe, the Marienburg, located 14 km away. The city's main attractions include the Castle of the Teutonic Order, the late medieval Church of Saint Anne, and the former Protestant church. The nearby place Biała Góra (Weißenberg), which until 1939 formed a tri-border area between the German Reich, Poland, and the Free City of Danzig, is worth a visit. There, you can enjoy not only large locks and a marina but also a beautiful view of the Vistula and Nogat rivers. Not far from Sztum (Stuhm) lies the village of Waplewo Wielkie. Here, there is a Museum of the Nobility Tradition. It is a branch of the Polish National Museum. Anyone interested in history, architecture, and antique furniture will find their fill here.

When you vacation with us in Stuhm, in addition to the seaside resort, graduation tower, and city attractions, you can quickly reach other tourist attractions by car.
The city of Marienburg, with Europe's largest brick castle, has not only been declared a WORLD HERITAGE site by UNESCO, it is also one of the most important, if not the most important, tourist attractions in the Republic of Poland and is visited annually by approximately 400,000 tourists. The city is only 14 kilometers from Stuhm and a visit to the castle should be on your must-do list.
The Baltic Sea is also not far away. In about 54 kilometers you are in Stegna. There you can enjoy wide sandy beaches and sea breezes.
A visit to Gdansk is worth it not only because of the many shopping opportunities, but also because of the beautiful old town with its unique flair. What you should not forget, especially when you are in Gdansk, is to visit Sopot. There, at the longest pier of the Baltic Sea (mole 512 meters), you can enjoy the sun and sea breeze. Here ships await you, heading towards the Hel Peninsula and Gdansk (Danzig). The tourist life in Sopot is concentrated on the promenade (Bohaterów Monte Cassino Street), which is almost 700 meters long. On both sides of the street here you will find cafes, pubs, restaurants, and clubs for every budget. You can dine exclusively in one of the many restaurants, or order a "Zapiekanka" baguette very cheaply at a "bar". Once you have seen the promenade, pier and the beaches, you will know why Sopot attracts 4,000,000 visitors every year.

Very beautiful house by the lake
Those who vacation here will find a very beautiful and quietly located house with elegant furnishings and a large garden directly by a lake. The furnishings leave nothing to be desired, the beds are very soft and cozy, and the fireplace provides cozy warmth for cool evening hours. The wonderful garden with nice seating areas invites you to linger and play. For walks with or without a dog, there is a large lake with a paved path right in front of the house; this can also be used with a stroller, balance bike, pedal car, or bicycle.
Next door lives a relative of the landlord, who not only speaks very good German but is also available with advice and assistance. The restaurants are just a short walk by the lake, there are numerous shopping options in the village and a very nice fruit and vegetable market, with very friendly German-speaking sellers. Anyone who comes here must visit the castle in Marienburg! A successful vacation, we would love to come back.

Eventful and beautiful holiday time
We have rented this accommodation for our vacation for the second time now. The interior of the accommodation exudes a luxurious flair. The kitchen is very well equipped. The terrace invites relaxation. It was clean and well-maintained, just like the outdoor area. The outdoor area is large and fenced. Our dog was able to move freely in the large area. The property is located right next to one of the two lakes in Sztum, which can be easily circumnavigated and has a nice swimming beach. Sztum itself is also a lovely place. From here, you can start good/nice exploration tours. Recommended destinations include Malbork, Frombork, Kwidzyn, Gdańsk, Sopot, and much more. A special thanks goes to the landlord's grandmother for her helpfulness. This accommodation in Sztum is worth a trip. We can only recommend this accommodation.

Traumhafter Urlaub
We had a very relaxing holiday. The house was modern and luxuriously furnished. Everything you need was there. It was clean and well maintained, just like the garden. Our dog could move around freely because the property is fenced. We were able to take beautiful long walks around the lake with our dog, visited Malbork, Stegna, and Sopot. Unfortunately, it was very crowded in Stegna and Sopot. But it's also holiday season in Germany or Poland. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. We would like to thank our landlord and his family very much. They were very friendly and always provided help when we needed information. I can highly recommend this holiday home. We will probably book again next year.

Relaxing break
We spent a very nice and relaxing week in Poland. The house is inviting and modernly furnished, has everything you need, and offers enough space for the indicated number of people. The garden is well maintained, and you can spend nice hours on the terrace. Our dog could move freely as everything is fenced in. The landlord's family is very nice and helpful, they immediately take care of any requests. In the surrounding area, besides Sztum and its lakes, there are several things to see - Malbork with the Marienburg and Gdansk are definitely worth a visit; the beach of Stegna on the Polish Baltic Sea was fantastically wide and empty (although the season may not have started yet). We would love to come back next year.
