Please enter: In the large entrance area, our new infrared sauna awaits you after a busy day, with 2 seats, light therapy and the possibility to switch off with soft music. After the sauna you can immediately go to the large balcony or refresh yourself in the newly designed bathroom in the walk-in shower.
The living room (with sofa bed if needed) impresses with the warm colour scheme of the floor and walls. There is also a cosy dining area with a round table and 4 comfortable seats. Furthermore, you have the possibility of watching TV, we had a wall built especially for this purpose, in which not only the large TV is located but also 2 speakers, these are with Bluetooth. The bedroom has a large box spring bed (180x200 cm) in proven hotel quality, as well as sufficient cupboard space. The large balcony, which runs the entire length of the flat, invites you to relax. Yoga can also be practised there. The view is towards the Klausen lift and mountains.

More appearance than reality
Hello, we are unfortunately very disappointed with this accommodation! Wi-Fi does not work; Fan in the bathroom (no window available) is defective; The sink drain does not flow properly. The large LG flat-screen TV is not working properly... this issue seems to be known but not fixed. The dishwasher does not clean; The dishes are still dirty and stained after the wash cycle. The vacuum cleaner smells when in use; The great quiet location with many leisure activities is to be positively valued;

Grüß Gott Herr M. aus Paderborn, Ihre private Kritik kann ich nicht ganz nachvollziehen. 1. In den Bergen ist das WLAN Signal leider nicht immer stabil- dies hat auch teilweise mit dem Handyanbieter zu tun.2. Gebläse ist als defekt gekennzeichnet - also kein Schein als Sein! 3. Der TV funktioniert einwandfrei, evtl. lag hier ein Bedienerfehler vor- es stehen keine 100 Programme zur Verfügung, das steht auch im Hausordner. 4. In den Geschirrspüler muss gelegentlich auch mal Salz und Klarspüler nachgefüllt werden, steht in der Küche für unsere Gäste kostenlos bereit! 5. Ihre Meinung über den Staubsauger, sowie das anscheinend nicht richtig abfließende Wasser ( evtl Haare drin?) ist bitte bei der Putzfrau vor Ort zu melden, jedoch hat sowas nichts in einer Bewertung zu suchen.
Ansonsten hoffe ich sehr, das Sie sich trotzdem noch ein bisschen erholen konnten?

Even when booking the flat at short notice, the handling was completely uncomplicated and professional.
Compliments to the landlords! The holiday flat is really successful. Very nicely furnished, comfortable beds, great bathroom, the infrared sauna and the large balcony with an unobstructed view of nature..... Pure relaxation. There is plenty of information about hiking and other activities in the flat. We had our dog with us, which was also a real plus with the large balcony.
If you like hiking, you are in good hands here. We have never found such well-signposted hiking trails anywhere else, where you can reach your destination without getting lost despite the hiking map.

Top apartment, but less recommendable for non-smokers
We were very friendly, competent and dedicated on-site support and the contact with the landlady was pleasant and binding.
The location is quiet, but you can walk to the bakery, which also has a small mini-market, within a few minutes. You can start hikes directly from the house, for example to the Bayreuther Haus or the Wildpark. Mehlmeisel is located in the middle of the Fichtelgebirge.
The apartment has been completely renovated and is very nicely and lovingly furnished. The highlight is the infrared cabin. The bathroom has a large rain shower, the bed is very comfortable.
Unfortunately, I overlooked when booking that it is a smoking apartment. We are really not very sensitive to the smell of smoke, but the smell in the apartment is strong and bothersome despite airing, room spray, and scented candles, and we even took it home in our suitcase and had to wash the clothes we did not wear and unpack. The balcony is so great and big that you can also go outside for a cigarette...
Conclusion: absolutely recommended, but unfortunately only for smokers...

Hallo, wir sind leider bitter enttäuscht über diese Unterkunft!!!!!
WLAN funktioniert nicht; Gebläse im Badezimmer( kein Fenster vorhanden) defekt; Der Abfluss am Waschbecken fließt nicht richtig ab. Der große TV LG Flachbildschirm funktioniert nicht richtig… dieses Problem ist wohl bekannt, wird aber nicht behoben. Die Spülmaschine reinigt nicht; Das Geschirr ist nach dem spülgang immer noch fleckig und unsauber. Der Staubsauger stinkt bei Benutzung;
Positiv zu Bewerten ist die tolle ruhige Lage mit vielen Freizeitangebote;

Auch bei einer kurzfristigen Buchung der Wohnung war die Abwicklung völlig unkompliziert und professionell.
Ein Kompliment an die Vermieter! Die Ferienwohnung ist wirklich gelungen. Sehr nett eingerichtet, bequeme Betten, tolles Badezimmer, die Infrarotsauna und der große Balkon mit freiem Blick in die Natur..... Erholung pur. Ausreichendes Infomaterial zu Wanderungen oder anderen Unternehmungen befinden sich in der Wohnung. Wir hatten unseren Hund dabei, auch das war mit dem großen Balkon ein echtes Plus.
Wer gerne wandert, ist hier sehr gut aufgehoben. Wir haben noch nirgendwo so gut ausgeschilderte Wanderwege vorgefunden, wo man sein Ziel erreicht, ohne sich trotz Wanderkarte zu verlaufen.

Wir wurden sehr freundlich, kompetent und engagiert vor Ort betreut und der Kontakt mit der Vermieterin war angenehm und verbindlich.
Die Lage ist ruhig, aber man kommt zu Fuß innerhalb weniger Minuten zum Bäcker, der auch einen kleinen Mini-Markt führt. Wanderungen kann man direkt vom Haus aus, zum Beispiel zum Bayreuther Haus oder den Wildpark starten. Mehlmeisel liegt inmitten des Fichtelgebirges.
Die Wohnung ist komplett neu modernisiert und sehr schön und liebevoll eingerichtet. Das Highlight ist die Infrarotkabine. Das Bad hat eine große Regendusche, das Bett ist sehr bequem.
Leider hatte ich aber bei der Buchung übersehen, dass es eine Raucherwohnung ist. Wir sind wirklich nicht sehr empfindlich gegenüber Rauchgeruch, aber der Geruch in der Wohnung ist trotz Lüften, Raumspray und Duftkerzen stark und störend und wir haben ihn sogar im Koffer mit nach Hause genommen und mussten auch die Kleidung, die wir nicht getragen und ausgepackt haben, waschen. Der Balkon ist so toll und groß, dass man für den Genuss der Zigarette eigentlich auch kurz raus gehen kann...
Fazit: Absolut empfehlenswert, aber leider nur für Raucher...
