We loved our stay at Bachmaier! The area is so serene, and the flat was well-maintained, The only downside was the weather, but we made the most of our time exploring the waterfalls and enjoying the local market

Well, I relied on the reviews for this house. However, I do not recognize any point. Absolutely no reception. I never saw the landlord, only via app that I could enter the house at 4:00 PM and that on the last day I received a message that I had to leave the remaining amount in cash on the table. No explanation or anything regarding waste disposal, how things work in the house, no writing/explanation in the house, just a few brochures. First time preparing food: all the cutlery, plates, and pans were dirty. There were still food remnants from the previous guests on everything. Glasses were not clean. With one and a half rolls of toilet paper, a dirty dish brush, and a cleaning sponge that was completely worn out, there was nothing else available. No garbage bags and garbage bins (only in the toilet and two small ones in the kitchen for food waste, however without bags). We still had to buy everything. In the more than 20 years that we have been going to Austria, we have never experienced this. The house was clearly only cleaned with a broom, as there was a lot of dust in every corner throughout the house and certainly under the beds. The extractor hood was very dirty. The mattresses on the double bed were thin. You could immediately feel every slat of the slatted base. Almost every day, the fuses blew. Suddenly, you were in the dark without knowing where the meter cupboard was. The house is otherwise very basic. The location is great, nicely within walking distance of the Krimml waterfall where you can enter for free with the guest card. I really don't understand the high rating. I don't recognize anything and we have encountered a lot in those over 20 years.
