The cosy holiday flat, suitable for 2 to 4 people, can be reached via a separate entrance and a spacious sunny terrace from the garden.
Inside, a spacious living room with a fully equipped kitchen area awaits you. Continue into the farmhouse-style bedroom and the small bathroom. The second bedroom is accessible via another anteroom with wardrobe.
The spacious garden offers numerous places, sunny or shady, to linger. Among other things, there is a garden terrace with a fireplace, where you can sit in the evening silence with wine and listen to the crackling of the fire. Of course, you can also barbecue there.
A parking space next to the property is available exclusively for your vehicle.

Location of our holiday flat
Not more than 45 km away from the state capital Dresden, in the upper Elbe valley, lies our village Schöna on the left side of the Elbe.
The Zirkelstein, visible from afar, is the landmark of our village. From this wonderful vantage point you can see all around the landscapes of the Schrammsteine in the National Park of Saxon Switzerland, the rocky landscape of Bohemian Switzerland with the famous Prebisch Gate, the Zschirnsteine, at 561 m the highest rock elevation on German territory, until the panorama closes again with the view of the Pfaffensteine, the Gohrisch and Papststein, the Königstein Fortress and the Lilienstein.
You can quickly and comfortably reach the other side of the Elbe in Schmilka by ferry in Schöna and find yourself in the midst of the most beautiful hiking areas and yet return to the quieter and more tranquil side of the Elbe at the end of your excursion.

The well-known Elbe cycle path invites you to take extensive bike tours along the course of the river, as far as Dresden or Bohemia.
Inns invite you to stop for a bite to eat. In the village there is a small grocery shop with a farm butcher's shop and a post office - what more do you need on holiday? But you will also find supermarkets and numerous other shopping facilities in nearby Bad Schandau.

If you are looking for peace and relaxation in the nature of the Saxon Elbe Sandstone Mountains, if you want to hike through quiet forests and bizarre, wildly romantic rocky landscapes of our uniquely beautiful Saxon Switzerland, then come and stay with us. The holiday home, in front of which a small, fresh brook babbles along, stands idyllically on the edge of the forest. The "Caspar David Friedrich" painter's path leads directly past our property.
