Surrounded by nature, just steps from the expansive Baltic Sea beach, you can leave everyday life behind at this holiday and camping park. The rustic country-style of the holiday homes creates a wonderful ambiance upon arrival, where families with children in particular feel completely at home. On beautiful summer days, you can set the breakfast table outside and plan your day with fresh rolls and jam. Would you like to head straight to the sea, or is another interesting day trip planned? Or, for a change, look forward to a day of wellness: The holiday park has a large sauna area with a heated indoor pool (use for a fee). Of course, you can also splash around in the large outdoor pool (also for a fee) and have a cocktail mixed for you at the bar.
In the surrounding area, there are several shops for daily needs, restaurants, and a snack bar on the beach. Hohe Düne is a district of Rostock and a state-recognized Baltic Sea resort. The town got its name from the dune, which used to be located about one kilometer east of the estuary of the Warnow River.
Highlights included:
Water and final cleaning
Wi-Fi
Parking for one car
Activities nearby: How about a day trip to Prerow, Zingst (60 kilometers), or Kühlungsborn (50 kilometers)? On the way to Kühlungsborn, we recommend a stop in Bad Doberan. From here, you can continue on with the "Molli," the spa steam train. Stralsund is only about an hour's drive away. A visit to the Oceanarium there is a must for your family trip. But there's no chance of boredom in the immediate vicinity of your vacation home either. The Hohe Düne climbing forest, for example, is just a stone's throw away from your vacation home. A city tour of Rostock or a day at the zoo are also a good option.

For older people, the couch and the armchair are very low; one has to struggle to get back up. The bed in the bedroom is also too low. In the kitchen, there is no draining sink for the dishes. A microwave and a toaster would also be appropriate. I paid 11 euros per day for my small dog (2.8 kilos). It would be nice to find food bowls. My dog does not make a mess. Also, the location of the house with the dog on the street is bad. The window in the bedroom could be opened minimally. The house is too expensive for the price. The apartments are just as expensive, and you can use the pool and spa for free. The houses have to pay for that. We would not vacation there again. Tendler
Ute Denecke
Upon arrival at the holiday home, we first had to determine that there are no 2 bedrooms. In the attic area, a steep staircase leads to the sleeping area, which is open. This was not mentioned anywhere in the description and was very uncomfortable for our companion. Furthermore, the outdoor seating cushions were missing, and in order not to have to sit on hard camping chairs for a week, we bought some from Stolz. A vacation expense that was not planned, and it was also the first time this was missing. Furthermore, one should, and it is actually a matter of course, equip the holiday homes with insect screens. With this mosquito plague, this should also be a matter of course. Since no one can do anything about the weather, we left 2 days earlier. Unfortunately, it was not in our interest to drive the electricity costs further up with the heating. We will not come back because the price/performance ratio unfortunately did not match. In this sense, the Denecke family.

The price-performance ratio is not proportional. For example, bed linen per person €35.00, flat rate for electricity and water.

We were here for the first time and would gladly come back. It was tidy and clean. What bothered us were the electric heaters. These are charged extra and consume a lot of electricity, and it doesn't get really warm. The party kitchen has everything that is needed, but for starters, a few spices, filter bags or kitchen paper, as well as dish soap and dishcloths wouldn't be bad, but this would be nitpicking at the highest level.
