The popular Weissenhäuser Strand holiday and leisure park is located directly on a 3-kilometer-long sandy beach on the Baltic Sea. Families, in particular, will find plenty to do here: The subtropical water park, the adventure jungle, and a water ski facility (open from Easter to October) ensure an unforgettable vacation for the whole family, whatever the weather. From February 16 to June 27, 2025, and from September 7 to June 26, 2026, as well as from August 30, 2026, to March 21, 2027, you have free admission to the subtropical water park (limited to 3 hours per day; a surcharge applies for longer stays). Whether you stay in one of the holiday homes or an apartment, you always have your own terrace or balcony and are just steps away from the sea.

The Weissenhäuser Strand holiday and leisure park is surrounded by dunes and natural landscapes and is located near Hohwacht, below the island of Fehmarn. The state capital Kiel is not far away, and the Hanseatic city of Lübeck is also easily accessible from here.

It was a great vacation for us. We fell into bed tired, but that might also be due to the sea air. Everything we ordered to eat there was very delicious.

Great destination for families! The kids could run and play while we relaxed, the proximity to the beach was a huge plus for us.

Fantastic location near the beach, The apartment was spacious enough for our group, clean and comfortable, The kitchen had everything needed to prepare meals, The only thing I would say is that it could use a bit of updating, but we spent most of our time outside anyway.

The location is perfect for beach lovers. We enjoyed long walks on the sand and had fun at the nearby amusement parks. Our apartment was cozy and had everything we needed.
