Located directly on a stunning, 3 km long sandy beach, the Weissenhäuser Strand holiday and leisure park is one of the largest and most popular holiday resorts in Germany. Families, in particular, will find plenty to do here: The subtropical water park, the adventure jungle, and a water ski facility (open from Easter to October) ensure an unforgettable holiday for the whole family, whatever the weather. From February 16 to June 27, 2025, and from September 7 to June 26, 2026, as well as from August 30, 2026, to March 21, 2027, you have free admission to the subtropical water park (limited to 3 hours per day; additional charges apply for longer stays).

You will always have your own terrace or balcony and be just steps away from the sea. The Weissenhäuser Strand holiday and leisure park is surrounded by dunes and natural landscapes and is located near Hohwacht, below the island of Fehmarn. The state capital Kiel is not far away, and the Hanseatic city of Lübeck is also easily accessible from here.

A very pleasant stay! The accommodation was well-maintained and access to various activities like wakeboarding was a hit for the family. The only downside was the weather, but that is not the hotel's fault!

The stay at Weissenhäuser Strand was quite pleasant. The apartment was clean and spacious enough for our family, and the kitchen had everything needed for cooking. We spent a lot of time at the nearby pier in Heiligenhafen, which was a nice place for evening walks. Overall, a solid choice for a family getaway, although some facilities might need a bit of updating.
