Experience traditional fishing crafts up close and enjoy tasty variations of regional fish. Anyone who would like to bring fresh fish into their own kitchen can have their fish fished out of the tanks and prepared for the pan by the fisherman. For those who just enjoy the sight of the elegant animals, the fishermen's large show tank offers beautiful insights into the underwater world.

The tranquil town of Krakow am See is located where the numerous lakes and wide fields of the Mecklenburg Lake District meet the rolling hills and shady forests of Mecklenburg Switzerland. Krakow is not only a climatic health resort, but also part of the Nossentiner/Schwinzer Heide nature park and its surroundings with Lake Krakow were declared a nature reserve many years ago. On a stroll through the old town you will find lovingly restored buildings.

From your holiday home you can experience the unique view over Lake Krakow and enjoy the peace and quiet. However, the promenade and the city center of Krakow are only a few steps away. Of course, we definitely recommend using a fishing boat to fish on the fish-rich Krakower Untersee. Pike and perch are the main fish, but vendace are also caught by specialists. Children can catch rudd and other white fish right on the jetty. Every year around August 18, the traditional Fisherman's Festival of the city of Krakow takes place, where dragon boat races, corso rides and fireworks along the lake promenade create a festive atmosphere.

We had a wonderful time exploring the historic streets of Prague. The ancient architecture and cobblestone alleys create an atmosphere that is truly enchanting. Our visit to Prague Castle was a highlight, offering stunning views of the city below. The Charles Bridge at sunset was a magical sight, with the Vltava River shimmering in the fading light. We enjoyed the local cuisine, especially the hearty goulash and traditional dumplings. Overall, our trip to Prague was unforgettable, and we can't wait to return.
