Newly built holiday home with a fenced-in Scandinavian-style property in the heart of the Schaalsee Biosphere Reserve. You're sure to feel at home in the modern and tastefully furnished rooms. A spacious sun terrace with garden furniture and loungers invites you to relax under the parasol on warm days. In the evenings, barbecues are a cozy experience – and you should definitely try some delicious fresh fish from the Schaalsee fishery. Of course, you can also simply fish for your own fish. You're only 1,300 meters from the Schaalsee, where there is a boat rental and a beautiful lido for bathing and swimming.
Zarrentin is considered the gateway to the Schaalsee Biosphere Reserve. In the town, you'll find various shops and restaurants, as well as a lakeside promenade and a lido. Worth seeing are the former Cistercian monastery, of which the east wing is still preserved today, and the local history museum, founded in 1988, which focuses on the town's and regional history.

The Schaalsee Biosphere Reserve lies directly on the former inner-German border. A circular hike across the Strangen Peninsula and along the Kirchensee lake impressively demonstrates how formerly populated areas and border fortifications have been and are being reclaimed by nature. The just over 40-kilometer bike tour around the Schaalsee lake is also very beautiful.

In the parents' bedroom, it is very, very cramped. The bed is positioned differently than in the photos.

Small but nice holiday home, there were two of us with a dog and we felt very comfortable, it is about a 10-minute walk to the town center with shops and to the lake, we would love to come back,
