Comfortable and modernly furnished holiday home in the middle of the Schaalsee biosphere reserve. You will definitely feel very comfortable in the bright and light-flooded rooms. A beautiful sun terrace with garden furniture and loungers invites you to spend relaxing hours under the parasol on warm days. In the evening the grill is fired up - and you should also resort to wonderfully fresh fish from the Schaalsee fishery. Of course you can also just fish for your own fish. You live only 1,300 meters from the Schaalsee, there is a boat rental and a beautiful lido for bathing and swimming.
In Zarrentin you will find various shops as well as restaurants, a lake promenade and a lido. The former Cistercian monastery, of which the east wing is still preserved today, is worth seeing.

The Schaalsee Biosphere Reserve is recognized by UNESCO and as a nature lover you will come across many rare animals and plants here, which are best discovered on hikes and bike tours. A designated network of cycle and hiking trails of more than 180 kilometers in length leads you through pure and unspoiled nature. The Schaalsee Biosphere Reserve is located directly on the former inner-German border. A circular hike across the Strangen peninsula and along the Kirchensee impressively shows how formerly populated areas and border installations have been and are being reclaimed by nature. The just over 40-kilometer-long bike tour around the Schaalsee is also very beautiful.

It's a really nice house and I like the location. You have everything you need. The arrival and departure went smoothly and the landlady is very polite. The only thing that is a pity and we missed was that the house has no internet. But despite that we were satisfied.

For the price of the accommodation, I had expected clean accommodation. Unfortunately, the garden furniture was very worn and the garden table had black mold stains caused by the weather, which unfortunately did not come off despite the cleaning agent

We found a very nice, newly built holiday home, the contact with the landlady and the manager Mrs. Geisler was very friendly and informative, the key handover went smoothly and you could just feel good, there are a few little things that are still missing, these but were already addressed on departure and as I estimate the owners they will certainly provide a remedy soon, everything was very clean, we will be happy to recommend the holiday home because the location is just great for everyone who is looking for peace and relaxation, Our dog felt very comfortable too

The handover of the key was a bit bumpy, the telephone number given did not correspond to the telephone number of the person handing over, how we found it a little incomprehensible, the person handing over was quite damaging to business, when said about her

Very nice Mrs. Geisler (key handover), gave us the possibility of a very individual key handover, also on departure, criticism: due to the lack of information possibilities in the place (tourist office/map material) absolutely dependent on WLAN, S, O : no blackout possibilities, actually very easy to fix !
