Arrive and feel good: Pretty holiday village with wooden log houses in the alpine style, harmoniously at the edge of the forest in the midst of a charming landscape. The nature and recreation park radiates closeness to nature and comfort, families in particular will feel in good hands here. The best way to start the day is with breakfast on the covered terrace, so you can get ready for vacation in the morning. While your children let off steam to their heart's content on the park's own forest playground, you can use the opportunity to do something for yourself. In the complex you will find a sauna area (payable locally).
The picturesque town of Stamsried above the Regental is part of the district of Cham and the tourism region "Nature Park of the Upper Bavarian Forest". You can expect blooming meadows, babbling brooks, gentle forest mountains, but no traffic noise. In the center there are nice restaurants, shopping and leisure facilities. There is also a baroque castle with a castle park, a parish church and a market square.

We had to settle the stay because my wife could not tolerate the high temperatures. Unfortunately, we could not engage in any activities. We then decided to leave, as we have an air conditioner at home. The accommodation was nice but very warm. Best regards, Baumann

Unfortunately, no Wi-Fi for 7 days. No one reachable, no new towels, even though payment was made for them.

It was a beautiful vacation. We were in Stamsried over Christmas and the house was lovingly decorated, even with a small Christmas tree. Everything was clean and tidy. We felt very comfortable and will definitely be back.

The cottage was very nice once we knew where we had to be. There was no form of reception; we had to call ourselves to find out which cottage we had rented and how to get the key. There was no information about how everything worked there. Because the password that was stuck to the wall didn’t work, we had to call to find out that there was a completely different password available. When we had that, the internet was not working yet and the manager indicated that he would come 'by' the next day. We waited for him all Sunday and when we called him again, it turned out that he would not come 'by', but that he had been in the reception hut and we had not been there. Eventually, he would really come 'by' the next day (Monday) at the hut and then it turned out that there was not work being done on the cable nearby, but that the router was not working. He replaced this and then after more than 50 hours we finally had internet. No agreements were made about paying the tourist tax and also not about returning the key. So we just left the key under the doormat upon departure and left the tourist tax as it was. All of this made the stay much less pleasant than it could have been. There was also no information about where we should park the car at the location that belonged to our cottage, so we parked the whole week in someone else's spot. There are also no facilities to easily get the luggage to the cottage.
