The park of the former Theresienhof Palace has a fantastic location directly on the Scharmützelsee in the famous spa town of Bad Saarow. The Scharmützelsee is the second largest lake in Brandenburg and is connected to the waters of Berlin via the Storkow Canal and the Dahme. The Bad Saarow Palace Park is terraced. The holiday homes and holiday apartments, stylishly built in Scandinavian wooden construction, offer wellness and comfort. A bus stop is located directly at the entrance to the complex. In the holiday region around the Scharmützelsee, you can take advantage of the full range of gastronomic options and indulge in culinary delights.

The first house was already very remote! Due to a house renovation right in front of the terrace, we got a second house and that was great with a lake view.

In the description of the accommodation, it stated that it was a detached bungalow. The fireplace is too small for the accommodation, and the beds were outdated; 1.4m wide beds for two adult people are simply too narrow. Otherwise, they made the best of the situation.

What a stunning location! The Ferienhaus im Schlosspark Bad Saarow is nestled right by the beautiful Scharmützelsee, We spent our days hiking and cycling around the lake, and the evenings enjoying a cozy fire in the living room, Highly recommend for families!

I had a great stay at the Ferienhaus im Schlosspark. I liked the Scandinavian style of the place; it felt really cozy. Everything was clean and well-maintained. We had enough space for our group of six people, and the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. The sauna was a nice addition after a day of exploring the trails around the Scharmützelsee. The only downside was that the WiFi was a bit unstable, but honestly, we didn't mind disconnecting for a while. I will definitely return for another stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Ferienhaus im Schlosspark Bad Saarow! The location right next to Scharmützelsee was simply breathtaking, with extraordinary views that made our mornings magical. The house itself was spacious and beautifully decorated in that warm Scandinavian style. Our children loved having their own rooms, and we appreciated the fully equipped kitchen for family meals. The sauna was a lovely touch after a day of hiking in the nearby forests. Additionally, the bus stop right outside made it easy to explore the area. Highly recommended for families!
