The house of approx. 100 sqm stands on a plot of approx. 4500 sqm
in 2019, the upstairs bathroom was renovated and the villa was equipped with air conditioning. For the 2020 season there are new mattresses in all beds.
The villa is suitable for up to 6 adults and baby. The villa is equipped with all comforts. In the garden you will find patio furniture, umbrellas, sunbeds, a pool deck and a brick barbecue. Parking spaces for cars are available. In Villa Helena, traditional architectural style and modern comfortable furnishings are stylishly combined. On the ground floor there is a kitchen with dining area, living room, one bedroom and a bathroom. On the upper floor there are two bedrooms and a bathroom (one bedroom with a roof terrace). The upstairs bathroom was modernised in 2019. The pool is surrounded by a large sunbathing terrace.

The stone villa built in natural stone is located on the outskirts of the small village of Gerani, on a small hill, about 1 km as the crow flies from the sea near Rethymnon.
Detailed directions will be sent to you after booking. At a distance of approx. 700 m is the old Cretan village of Gerani. Here you will find several supermarkets, taverns, kafenion, a bakery . The small alleys invite you for a walk. Rethymnon, about 7 km away, with its old town is probably the most beautiful town on Crete. Visit the many sights in the vicinity.

| If there is a travel warning due to COVID-19, the cancellation fee of 100,- € applies until arrival, or you will get the full deposit amount credited as a voucher, or as a free rebooking. Electricity is not included in the offer period from 07 November - 01 April. The kw costs 0,50 € extra. From 16 November - 28 February the pool heating is not included. It costs extra per week by arrangement! Long-term holidaymakers please ask for prices. We have been living in Crete since 2004 and maintain our villas ourselves. Key handover, a competent contact person for all questions etc. is on site. We are always available by phone. A detailed description of good tavernas, excursion destinations, doctors etc. is available in the villa. We are happy to help you book a rental car. The car will be handed over to you at the airport. You will be expected at the airport, there is no need to queue and wait anywhere. This is staggered by category and season: The fee from March 1st - October 31st is €15.00/night per villa and from November 1st - February 29th it is €4.00/night, regardless of the number of guests. Here is the translation to English: Cancellation and withdrawal fees: up to 61 days €100.00, 60-30 days 25%, from the 29th day 50%, from the 8th day before arrival 100%. Pool heating possible, price on request. From 15.11. to 31.03., prices do not include electricity. Electricity is charged separately according to consumption. The pool is not in operation from December to the end of March. For winter prices, from 15.11. to the end of March, the final cleaning is included in the price. During this period, no interim cleanings are included, but they can be arranged upon request and will be charged additionally. The minimum stay from 01.11. to 15.11. is 7 nights. The minimum stay from 16.11. to 31.03. is 28 nights. The minimum stay from 01.04. to 30.04. is 7 nights. From 01.04. to 15.11., utilities are included in the rental price (except pool heating).

Several airlines fly to Heraklion or Chania daily from most German airports. From Chania airport it is about 80 km, from Heraklion about 85 km to the villa.
