Description
The Gerani Villas are modern and spacious holiday homes providing very comfortable furnishing and facilities.
A private garden with swimming pool and sun terrace belongs to each villa.
Villa B has 4 bedrooms, three of them furnished with double beds and one with 2 single beds, and 3 bathrooms.
The very complete equipment also includes separate air conditioning units in all rooms, satellite color TV set, open fireplace, electric hob, oven, microwave oven and dishwasher.
Besides the number of bedrooms and bathrooms, the villas else are of the same size and equipment.
Each of them has it's own plot which is framed by a garden wall from natural stone, with sunk-in lamps.
Outside the living-room there is a terrace which surrounds the swimming pool of 40 square meters size, and the separate children's section.
Lawn, ornamental plants and a barbecue from natural stone make the outer facilities complete.
Garden furniture are available on the terrace and on the balconies, and by the swimming pool there are sunbeds and umbrellas.
The living-room on the ground floor has an open fireplace and a satellite color TV set which also allows to listen international radio programs.
The dining area and the kitchen are connected cornerwise.
On the ground floor there is also a bedroom with a double bed and a balcony, a small bathroom with a shower, and a storage room.
On the top floor there are two more bedrooms with double beds and balcony, a fourth bedroom with two single beds, baby cot and balcony, a bathroom with a bath-tub and another shower bathroom.
On demand, two more accommodations can be prepared in the living-room so the villa can accommodate up to 10 persons.
All bedrooms and the living-room have separate air conditioning units which can be regulated individually, and switched to heating mode in wintertime.
Washing-machine, iron and board are available, furthermore a safe deposit box and a hairdryer.
Solar hot water supply with auxiliary electric heating.
The kitchen is equipped with the essential pots and pans, plates and dishes, cutlery and glassware.
Furthermore it has an integrated refrigerator/freezer, an electric hob with 4 plates, an oven, a dishwasher, a microwave oven, a toaster, a coffee maker, an electric kettle and an electric juice squeezer.

Location and surroundings of object
The Gerani Villas have been built in 2004 and 2006 as luxury holiday homes on a slope right above the village.
They enjoy particularly beautiful views of the small bay of Gerani, and the Aegean Sea.
The large property is framed by walls of natural stone, and the gardens of the villas are separated by natural stone walls as well.
A supermarket, two mini markets, baker's shop, butcher's shop, pastry shop, hairdresser, kafenion and two tavernas are located in the 1 km distant village center.
Beneath the village at the swimming-bay ( kms) there are two more tavernas.
Two times per day a public bus serves the village.
From the motor highway beneath the village hourly public bus service to Rethymnon and Iraklion (88 kms) as well as to Hania (55 kms), during the season every 30 minutes.
A rented car is however advisable as the villas are located roughly 1 km from the village center, and 2 kms from the motor highway.
Iraklion airport is 94 kms away, Hania airport 60 kms. Gerani is a small, typically Cretan village with crooked lanes on the slope of a hill above a small swimming-bay, some 7 kms west of the town center of Rethymnon on the island of Crete.
In recent years, many new houses were raised on the slopes around the village.
They all enjoy most beautiful views of the bay, the sea and the mountains.
During the season, many watersports are on offer on the beaches of Rethymnon (9 kms), Kavros (11 kms) and Georgioupolis (15 kms).
In the swimming-bay of Gerani there is a small marina.
The most picturesque Old Venetian Town of Rethymnon (8 kms) offers bars, discotheques and a colourful nightlife.
