A charming Breton penty nestled in a quiet location, just minutes from a sandy beach. Surrounded by a lush garden, palm trees and hydrangeas give it a Mediterranean feel. Two terraces facing different angles allow you to enjoy the sun at any time of day. A large tree provides pleasant shade for al fresco dining.
Located in the hamlet of Buguéles (commune of Penvénan), this pied-à-terre is ideal for exploring the wild Trégor coast. Hiking and cycling will take you to hidden coves, islets at low tide, and breathtaking seascapes. Nearby: the charming coastal villages of Penvénan, Port-Blanc, and the famous resort of Perros-Guirec with its beaches, harbor, casino, and thalassotherapy center. Don't miss the small historic towns of Tréguier, Pontrieux, and the lively port of Paimpol.

We spent three wonderful weeks in Brittany in Bugueles/Penvenan. The house is located in a very quiet wooded area, a bit set back from the beach, about a 10-minute walk. The huge garden, with a large chestnut tree, forest edge, and giant hydrangeas, offers sun and shade as needed. The house is a typical Breton simple stone house, with a kitchen, bathroom, and living room downstairs, and two bedrooms under a sloping roof and a reading nook upstairs. The establishment is rustic, dominated by the large wooden bar, knight's table, and spiral staircase made of natural wood. In the large garden, there is also a garden house for children with a sofa, table football, and beach toys. Modern bathroom with rain shower. Washing machine/dryer. Kitchen generally has everything, but the inventory is rather mismatched. As usual, no usable frying pan or proper knives. Internet good, TV rather old-fashioned with satellite and only public or advertising TV channels, no smart TV. Garden loungers and plastic chairs outside worn out, should be replaced and the broken ones removed. The place is located at a shallow bathing bay, making the water relatively warm (when it is back every 6 hours), when it is gone you can explore the seabed and the rocky islands. Good location to explore the Cote d' Ajoncs, almost directly on the scenic route. Various smaller towns within reach, rocks, beaches. Cliffs, islands, boat trips, kayaking, hiking along the coast. Brittany consists of many small roads, progress is rather slow. Allow plenty of time. St. Malo or Mont St. Michel are already too far for a day trip. As a restaurant, we can recommend Ty Gouffre in Plougrescant. Various seafood dishes (oysters, fish, prawns, lobster) but also a steak, if one wants. Good dessert menu, local specialties. We feasted our way through the menu. Otherwise, crepes (sweet) and galettes (savory) are available everywhere. Mussels in cream sauce. Or special shellfish restaurants, for those who dare. After 3 weeks, we are deeply tanned and have collected boxes of mussels :-) One note for dog owners, Fifi is not allowed on most bathing beaches (sandy beaches), but is allowed on coastal hiking trails or the wilder coastal sections.

Very pleasant stay in a beautiful region; the house is very well located, close to hikes, beaches, villages, and is secluded for perfect tranquility.

This place is a gem! The garden of vibrant flowers added so much charm to our stay. The beach is nearby, and we enjoyed collecting seashells during our walks.

We had a wonderful family getaway! The spacious house was perfect for us, offering plenty of space for everyone. The nearby Trestraou beach was enjoyed by the children, especially at low tide.

Perfect for a peaceful getaway, the quiet surroundings were exactly what we were looking for, and we really enjoyed the proximity to local attractions, such as Phare de Men Ruz.
