Great starting point for a holiday in the Emsland region.
We, 2 adults, stayed in the apartment for 8 days and immediately liked it. We felt very comfortable here. The necessary COVID-19 protection measures were well implemented, and the key handover was smooth. We had our own driveway for our car, and the garage itself was practically empty, so we could use it for our bikes. The apartment on the first floor is spacious, very clean, and equipped with everything you need for a relaxing stay. There is plenty of space even for 4 people. The furnishings are fairly new and harmonious. The kitchen is very large and fully equipped (including a dishwasher), so you could prepare complete meals there. We were able to eat on the balcony as a couple, but it might get tight with 4 people. In the hallway, there is a lot of information material about bike tours and sights in the Emsland region. There is a bakery, supermarket, gas station, and snack bar in the village, and the train station is not far away (about 1 km). We liked the location as a starting point for bike tours. You can quickly reach Haren, Dankern, and Meppen along the Ems. For longer trips, you can also use the train station about 1 km away heading north or south. You can use the south to cycle, and on the weekend, you can combine this with a bus that transports bikes. Very practical to explore the Emsland by bike. The house is located across from the church, but we stopped hearing the half-hourly bell strikes on the second day. We were very satisfied and will definitely come back again.
