To access the apartment, it is advisable to have a car or a means of transportation such as a VESPA, a motorcycle, or an electric bike.
All these vehicles can be rented in Lavandou between February 15 and October 30. In the winter season, it's more difficult.
The villa in which the apartment is located is situated on the hill above the PORT of Lavandou at an altitude of 50 meters.
Avenue du colonel Rigaud is a quiet cul-de-sac with little car traffic.

Only the “closure of a country’s borders” to foreigners, or the lockdown of the holiday location (“commune of Le Lavandou”) or the client’s place of residence, or a travel ban within the territory, will allow for a full refund of the deposit, excluding banking and ancillary fees. In all other cases, the following cancellation fees will apply: **B)** If the restrictions only concern the closure of certain establishments in the evening (bars, restaurants, etc.) or are due to a personal decision, the following conditions will apply. **C)** The client must formally justify, with written proof or certificates, a case of force majeure. In this particular case, a credit note corresponding to the deposit paid, valid for one year, may be offered to the tenant by the owner. **D)** Or, the client is unable to travel to the location upon presentation of original documents proving that the client is physically unable to travel to the holiday location. The refunds applicable in cases B, C, or D of the contract are as follows: - 90 days before arrival: 80% of the amounts paid will be refunded, with a minimum fee of €120 retained by the owner as compensation. - 45 days before arrival: 50% of the amounts paid will be refunded, with a minimum fee of €150 retained by the owner as compensation. - 30 days before arrival: no refund of the amounts paid, except by special agreement with the owner.

The best time to visit Le Lavandou is mainly between June and September, when the climate is ideal for enjoying the beaches and water activities. Here is an overview of the seasons:
• High season (July and August): Temperatures are the highest, often reaching 30°C, and tourist traffic is at its peak. It's the perfect time for those looking for a lively atmosphere and beach activities. • Mid-season (June and September): These months offer pleasant temperatures (around 25-28°C) with fewer people than in peak summer. It's ideal for enjoying the beaches while avoiding the crowd.
• Low season (October to March): Although less frequented, winter can be pleasant for those looking for tranquility. The temperatures are cooler, but the landscapes remain beautiful, and there are still many sunny days. In summary, if you want to fully enjoy the beach and summer activities, June to September is the recommended period. For a quieter and more economical experience, consider visiting in the spring or fall.

Great apartment, would love to come back!!

We have already been to this very beautiful vacation apartment twice. There is enough space for a family of four, the city and the beautiful beach are all within a few minutes' walk. There is parking on the street directly in front of the house. Wonderful sea view from the bedrooms and from the spacious terrace. The apartment is very clean and has all the necessary things. The terrace is equipped with sufficient seating, a sun umbrella, and a grilling area, inviting you to linger. The landlord is very friendly, always reachable, and very flexible regarding the times for arrival and departure. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back.
