Only 15 km from Narbonne, at the foot of the hills of the La Clape mountains, lies the beautiful seaside resort of Narbonne-Plage. More than 300 sunny days a year and a very well maintained 5 km long and approx. 200 m wide fine sandy beach promise pure holidays. The bathing season begins in April and lasts until October. Even in the high season the beaches are not crowded. Since 1988, Narbonne-Plage has received the "Pavillon Bleu" award every year for excellent water, beach and port quality.
Water sports enthusiasts will get their money's worth here. Surfing, sailing, jet skiing and many other water sports are offered. Cyclists will find an extensive network of cycle paths connecting the coastal towns around Narbonne-Plage. Nature lovers will find peace and relaxation during walks through the Massif de la Clape and the vineyards. For dog owners there are enough dog beaches, so that also your four-legged darling can enjoy the vacation
From March onwards and throughout the summer there are regular free events in the area of the beach promenade. For night owls a discotheque is open all year round.
For those interested in art and culture, an excursion to Narbonne is recommended. There are countless museums here. Walk in the footsteps of the Romans, enjoy a walk along the Canal de la Robine, visit the medieval cathedral of Saint-Just-et-Saint-Pasteur and and and
For those who want to cook themselves, there are several small grocery stores and bakeries in the centre of Narbonne-Plage. There is an Intermarché and a Lidl in the neighbouring village. Be sure to visit the local markets held several times a week, where you can buy all the food directly from the producers.
For those who prefer dining, there is a wide range of restaurants in and around Narbonne-Plage with regional and international cuisine.

Whoever is looking for a small paradise will find it here!
We spent 2 wonderful weeks with 2 large dogs in Villa Pinienhain. The house has a great, quiet location, is spotlessly clean, and really equipped with everything you need. Especially for hobby cooks like me, it is a joy to have fun in the kitchen. The house, especially the upper part, consisting of living/dining area, kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom, is bright and flooded with light. Even with the shower door open, you have a sea view. Just with dogs, you find everything you need. On the ground floor is the garage, where the car could be parked, as well as the access through the garage and the house entrance. In the lower area is another bedroom with access to the two lower terraces and a separate shower room. The property is completely fenced. On the upper balcony, 4 - 6 people can fit, there are comfortable garden furniture, as well as loungers and deck chairs. A drying rack also fits here. A spiral staircase leads from the balcony to a small rooftop terrace with a panoramic view of the sea and Narbonne Plage, extending over the Massif de la Clape. The beach is reachable in about 10 minutes on foot, even faster by bike. The now extended dog beach of Crénau Naturel, which stretches for about 1.5 km, is visible from the balcony and runs from the restaurant L'Hosptalet Beach to the aquapark towards Gruissan. Dogs can romp around freely there, swim, dig, officially on a leash, but the majority of the French, with also nice dogs of all kinds, are deeply relaxed. There is always plenty of space, even in high season. The LIDL and Intermarché in Gruissan are easily accessible, and there are two small supermarkets in the village. The large Carrefour in Narbonne next to the highway exit is almost a shopping paradise. The contact with the very friendly owners is super pleasant and uncomplicated, as is the handover by the friendly French lady on site. Simply top?

Varied autumn days in a beautiful house
We were at the Stallkamp family's house for the second time this year. This time entirely as a family, a total of 4 adults and one minor child. We found the space completely sufficient for all of us, especially since we were out on tours or at the beach every day. Even swimming in the sea was still possible due to the temperatures. At this time of year, the tourist crowds have diminished, and there is plenty of space on the beach. The attractions are no longer as crowded, and in the restaurants, you can usually always find a place. Together with the wonderful house, it was once again very eventful and diverse days. Among our many trips across France, this accommodation ranks high on our personal list.

Beautiful house with a great view of the sea.
This year we booked the beautiful accommodation for the second time. We spent 16 days in August just the two of us, plus our big dog, in the house. The house is very well equipped with its two bedrooms and bathrooms, making it suitable for four people as well. Everything is available, and you feel immediately welcome and at home. The location is also fantastic, with short distances to the city for shopping or the beach, and no long trips need to be planned for excursions. This time we explored even more of the beautiful area, we often visited Gruissan and the boathouses on stilts look very nice, as does the surroundings of the Aude estuary, which somewhat resembles Florida. At least some views do. Then this wonderful medieval city of Carcassonne, so beautiful, unfortunately we didn't make it back for a second visit in the evening. For this, we looked at Narbonne in the evening and walked through the illuminated streets, so many beautiful impressions. Our dog loves the beach, and we do too… We felt absolutely at home in the house, and still, this magnificent view of the sea, no matter from where, even from the shower…
What should we say? “We will come back” and heartfelt thanks to the Stallkamp family for the very warm and friendly communication.

enjoying vacation
In this house, you can definitely stay for three weeks!!! It feels like home. In this season, it can already be cooler in the evenings and it can also storm heavily. On these days, you can make yourself comfortable on the couch in the house and feel good. In the morning, you admire the wonderful view of the sea from the breakfast table, which shows a different color every day, sometimes with more, sometimes fewer waves. In short, the house is amazing as a vacation home, and not a small nutshell. We have known the area and landscape for many years, and there is never a boring day here. The region and especially the house are recommended for all seasons. Especially in winter, for those who can no longer tolerate the summer heat. We will come back here again and again and are glad to have found this house.

Der Kontakt mit den sehr sympathischen Eigentümern ist super angenehm und unkompliziert, ebenso die Übergabe durch die freundliche französische Dame vor Ort. Einfach top?
Dieses mal ganz in Familie, insgesamt 4 Erwachsene und ein minderjähriges Kind.
Wir fanden den Platz für uns Alle vollkommen ausreichend, zumal wir täglich auf Tour bzw. am Strand waren. Sogar baden im Meer ging von den Temperaturen noch. Um diese Jahreszeit sind die Touristenströme verebbt und man hat am Strand jede Menge Platz. Die Sehenswürdigkeiten sind nicht mehr so überlaufen und in den Restaurants findet man in der Regel auch immer einen Platz.
Zusammen mit dem tollen Haus waren es wieder sehr erlebnis- und abwechslungsreiche Tage.
Bei unseren vielen Reisen kreuz und quer durch Frankreich nimmt diese Unterkunft auf unserer persönlichen Hitliste einen der Spitzenplätze mit ein.
Was sollen wir sagen „wir kommen wieder“ und herzlichen Dank an die Familie Stallkamp, für die sehr herzliche und freundliche Kommunikation.

Wir werden immer wieder hier her kommen, und sind froh dieses Haus gefunden zu haben.
Wir haben jeden jeden Morgen einen Strandspaziergang gemacht, beim Bäcker Brot gekauft und anschließend auf der Terrasse gefrühstückt - insgesamt ein perfekter Urlaub, den die Wohnung von Familie Stallkamp bietet, weshalb wir sie wärmstens weiterempfehlen können!
Die Kommunikation mit Frau Stallkamp war einwandfrei. Sehr schnell und mit vielen sehr guten Tipps wurde geantwortet.

Die Lage insgesamt lädt täglich zu neuen Ausflügen ein, welches wir auch reichlich genutzt haben.
Leute die mehr auf Strandurlaub stehen, finden auf jeden Fall am riesigen Strand ein Plätzchen für sich.
Für uns waren es 2 erholsame und erlebnisreiche Wochen in einer sehr schönen Unterkunft.

Als ich in die Schränke sah, kam ich mir vor wie zu Hause. Es fehlt an nichts. Sehr schönes Geschirr…….alles im Überfluss vorhanden.
Die Gegend ist für uns nicht unbekannt, wir haben 2 Jahre in Gruissan gelebt, und wir lieben diesen Landstrich. Wir haben viele Freunde dort und deshalb war es für uns besonders schön, dass wir dieses Haus der Familie Stallkamp entdeckt haben.
Wir haben einen Wasserpudel, der ohne Bedenken einfach in dem angrenzenden Pinienhain sein Temperament austoben konnte ( immer mit Tüte).
Die Familie Stallkamp ist außerordentlich zuvorkommend und ich darf nicht so viele gute Sachen schreiben, sonst ist alles ausgebucht.

Wir haben schon in einigen Ferienhäusern in Frankreich und auch in Narbonne-Plage unseren Urlaub verbracht. Dieses war nicht zu toppen. Wir kommen mit Sicherheit wieder.
Wir hatten ein paar unbeschwerte Tage in toller Umgebung.
Die Lage ist sehr ruhig - kein Durchgangsverkehr oder sonstiger Lärm.
Die eigene Garage ist praktisch - das Auto steht sicher und kühl.
Das absolute Highlight für uns ist die Dachterrasse - ein genialer Platz für nach dem Strandbesuch einen Kaffee in der Abendsonne mit Blick aufs Meer zu genießen.
Das WLAN ist schnell und stabil.
Die Gegend lädt zu Ausflügen ein - alte Ortschaften mit ganz viel Geschichte.
Aber wir haben längst nicht alles gesehen - wir kommen wieder...
Schon zum Frühstück gab's den Meerblick und Abends den herrlichen Ausblick von der Dachterrasse. Tolles Haus, sehr sauber, perfekte Ausstattungen, es fehlt an nichts, sehr nette und hilfsbereite Vermieter. Kommen sicherlich wieder.
Zur guten Erholung haben auch die bequemen Betten beigetragen. Die Villa Pinienhain ist eins der schönsten und besten Ferienhäuser, das wir bisher angemietet hatten und das waren nicht wenige. Besonderen Dank an Fam. Stallkamp auch für den guten Service - für Fragen war Frau Stallkamp jederzeit erreichbar.
Alles was in den Bewertungen davor zu lesen war können wir nur bestätigen!
Ganz toll: Die Verfügbarkeit einer Garage.
Ebenfalls positiv, die "Erreichbarkeit" der Vermieterin bei Fragen sowie Anliegen..
Ein einziger Nachteil muss leider doch erwähnt werden: Die Zeit ist wie im Fluge vergangen:-)!!
Für uns, definitiv die erste Adresse für Urlaub in Narbonne-Plage.
Zuerst müssen wir erwähnen, dass die Kommunikation und Betreuung mit und durch die Vermieter einfach super war. Anfragen bzw. Fragen wurden sehr schnell beantwortet. Broschüren und Informationen zur Umgebung, Ausflugsziele, Märkte, Restaurants usw. gab es schon im Vorfeld, so dass man sich hier auch schon vorab Gedanken machen und einlesen konnte. Auch die Hausverwalterin vor Ort war sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Auch eine Nachfrage, ob man wieder gut und ohne Probleme zu Hause angekommen ist, haben wir so noch nicht erlebt.
Zum Haus selber können wir nur sagen: es hat nichts gefehlt! Es ist komplett mit allem was man braucht -oder vielleicht brauchen könnte- ausgestattet. Komplett ausgestattete Küche, zwei neue Bäder mit Duschen und WC's (war definitiv von großem Vorteil für ein Ehepaar mit zwei Söhnen), Terrassenmöbel für jede der Terrassen, bequeme Betten, Wlan, Grill, usw. Alles ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und (für mich persönlich ein großes Plus) sehr sauber.
Das Haus selbst liegt auf einem kleinen Hügel mit Blick zum Meer. Der Strand oder der Ortskern mit Bäcker, Metzger, kleinen Einkaufsmärkten ist bequem in nur wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar.
Für uns war es in dem Ferienhaus der Familie Stallkamp ein sehr erholsamer und entspannter Urlaub. Wir können das Haus mit bestem Gewissen weiterempfehlen.
Es gibt sehr viele Terrassen am Haus. Und auf dem Dach eine Dachterrasse. Auf der man sich den Ganzen Tag Sonnen kann und einen super Ausblick genießen kann.
Vom Balkon hat man Blick auf das Meer und ein teil vom Strand. Der Fußweg zum Meer ist angenehm. Das haus ist von der Autobahn sehr gut erreichbar.Mann ist mit dem Auto auch schnell in Narbonne wo es ein großes Einkaufszentrum gibt.
Das war ein super Urlaub.Ich kann das Haus jedem weiterempfehlen.
Ein so modern eingerichtetes und perfekt mit allem ausgestattetes Haus hatten wir noch nie. Es liegt auf einem kleinen Hügel mit herrlichem Meerblick. In wenigen Minuten ist man zu Fuß am Strand oder im Ortskern.
Die Kücheneinrichtung (sogar französische Kochbücher) lässt das Herz jedes Hobbykochs höher schlagen und auch den großen Holzkohlegrill auf der Terrasse haben wir mehrfach benutzt. Auf jeder Terrasse gibt es ausreichend bequeme Gartenmöbel mit neuen Polstern.
Wir Erwachsenen saßen am liebsten auf der oberen Terrasse und ließen die Seele beim Blick auf das Meer baumeln. Unsere Tochter im Teenie Alter war ganz begeistert, dass Sie das ganze Erdgeschoss mit eigenem Bad für sich hatte und Mama und Papa mal nicht mitbekamen, wenn Sie mit ihren Freunden chattete. Unser Hund fand das eingezäunte Grundstück, auf dem er jederzeit draußen sein konnte, ganz toll.
Die Betreuung durch Familie Stallkamp war super. Bereits im Vorfeld gab es jede Menge Informationen und Ausflugstipps und auch im Haus sind reichlich Reiseführer und Infomaterial vorhanden.
Da wir in einer Woche nur einen Bruchteil von dem gesehen haben, was uns interessiert, haben wir gleich für nächstes Jahr Ostern neu gebucht, dann aber für 2 Wochen.
