Left prematurely due to the weather.

All in all, not a house for a nice vacation, which is why we left on Thursday instead of Saturday.
- Dirty, musty, and mostly cold water.
- Neglected and unkempt garden.
- I don't know how 14 people are supposed to sleep there...
If we had the choice, we would never book this house again.

The first and last time.

We were there with 12 people (9 adults, 2 children, 1 toddler). The house looked good at first glance (from the inside) - that was about it. Many radiators were missing thermostats. The house seems to be in strong need of renovation - even from the outside. Some power outlets in the lower area were falling out of the wall, the dishwasher was not working and contained remains from the previous tenant (whenever that was). There were unspecified stains on the beds. In the room in the basement, there was mouse droppings on the windowsill. Showering/washing was only possible to a limited extent in this house. It was advisable to seek another place afterwards or use brought water bottles. The water smelled disgustingly of iron and rust. It was better not to cook with this broth either. When the tap was turned on for the first time, the water was brown. The "garden" behind the house has not been cultivated for what feels like years - Consequently, it also looked like it. There is little positive to say about the surroundings themselves. The access road is littered with potholes. At the fork in the road is the local dump. Apparently, the waste of all village residents is disposed of there. In the village itself, activities outside the season are not possible, as there is nothing there. One must necessarily drive to the nearest holiday resort by car. I cannot recommend this house. It is outrageous that this property is found on the internet as a holiday home. The pictures are not current and sometimes even edited. Potential vacationers are deliberately being deceived here.

Peaceful holidays far away from mass tourism

Very friendly helpful hosts. We had a wonderful holiday as a family with older children (10-17 years), even without our own car. We brought a children's bike, rented one and otherwise with the hosts' bikes we were able to conquer the island or enjoy a peaceful family holiday. You can get everything you need in the village shop or from the friendly landlords.
We will gladly come again.

Excellent

In the practical and tasteful house, we felt very comfortable. There was nothing, absolutely nothing, that we missed - great bathroom, great beds, and great amenities. Since we have friends in Swinoujscie, we were able to meet up in the house and have parties and barbecues in a peaceful environment. If we plan another vacation, we will gladly book here again. Lasting holiday experience

The vacation in Kolczewo will stay in our memories not only because of the helpfulness and friendliness of the landlord but also because of the tasteful and cozy atmosphere in the house. The house itself was simply wonderful, everything needed for a week on vacation was available, plus it was comfortably furnished and clean. Kolczewo is a typical small Polish village that is not overcrowded with tourists. You can find everything you need there. The area is charming, but a car is necessary. It is a few kilometers to the beach, and you don't want to walk 3 kilometers back home with exhausted kids, trust us. However, we fondly remember the time and would come back anytime. Overall, one of the most beautiful vacation homes we have rented.

Holiday home

The holiday home is located in the absolutely quiet Domyslow, where only the singing of birds can be heard. Very centrally located on the island of Wolin, so that all important destinations can be reached in less than an hour, often even in half an hour. The Viking is very nicely equipped with everything that is listed in the description. We especially liked the small bathing lakes, where we enjoyed swimming with the children.
For our daughter, the lovely dogs next door were the absolute highlight, for us it was the many excursions in the surrounding area and the warmth of the landlord, who suggested these to us.
A wonderful holiday that we have already spent for the second time and definitely not for the last time.

From family Aachen

Nice, well-furnished little house in a quiet district. A bathing lake and grocery store are just around the corner, but the beach is a bit further away, which is not a big problem. The house has everything necessary, and if there is a specific need (like a cot for us), the landlord Mr. Kamil is quick and happy to help. The price/performance ratio is very good. The contact with the landlord is very nice and uncomplicated.

A cozy house to feel comfortable.

A vacation in Kolczewo means feeling good from the first moment. The house stands out with its loving and tasteful interior and spacious rooms, probably due to the fact that the landlord Kamil is a perfectionist who cares about the well-being of his guests.

Thanks to the very well-equipped kitchen and the washing machine, the house is also recommended for longer stays. In addition to numerous other destinations, you can explore the surrounding area, such as the Baltic Sea. Excursions to the national park, or all coastal towns. Even the distance from Germany is less than an hour. Perfectly suitable for those who love vacations away from mass tourism. A heartfelt thank you to Kamil for the excellent and warm care!

To feel good all around...

Everything is clean and very well-maintained, and the outdoor facilities are also in good condition and well-secured, so that our two children can play unattended for a short time. Even our youngest, who is still a baby, feels really comfortable here and enjoys this "protected freedom". The successful vacation is rounded off by the nice people here, especially the two landlords! You can immediately tell that they really care about the satisfaction of their guests. Since we ourselves do not (yet) have a dog, we were worried before the visit that you might see or smell that dogs are also welcome in the apartments, but this turned out to be completely unnecessary. Carpets, sofas, beds, everything is really clean and in top condition! It's just a shame that the TV is a bit small, the kids had problems with the Playstation. But it's vacation, they had plenty to do anyway.

We will continue to come here gladly, of course also because of the central location on Wolin, from which you can easily reach all other places (Swinoujscie, Miedzywodzie, Miedzyzdroje, etc.) by bike. In bad weather, the larger cities are also easily accessible by car.

Overall, a place for a successful vacation in any weather (especially or especially with children)!

Simply perfect

Yesssss, we did it again...vacation on Wolin and of course in the incredibly quiet Kolczewo. This house lacks nothing, everything is perfect. It may not be super modernly furnished, but there are no wishes left unfulfilled. An absolute bargain when it comes to holiday homes. Upon arrival, 2 sockets were torn out, but the landlord informed us about it upon arrival, and in the evening of the same day, a craftsman came to repair them – so you can see that Mr. Kamil cares a lot about the house. I think we will also spend our vacation here next year.

This is how beautiful a holiday home can be.

The most beautiful time, the holiday season, we spent in Kolczewo in 2012. We found all information about the accommodation, location, condition, etc. to be optimal. Well-equipped, modern, and fast. Truly dreamlike surroundings. The roads, however, are terrible - public roads have holes so large that we damaged a rim. Also to be highlighted is the caring support provided by the landlord. We will come back and will definitely recommend it to our friends.

New Year's Eve vacation

Overall, it was a very nice holiday. It is a great house and was perfect for 10 people. We felt very comfortable there.

No more vacations in Domyslow.

When we read the reviews, we thought, "okay." When we arrived there, we thought, "oh my God." We entered the house, and immediately a musty smell hit us, as if the house had been empty for months and never aired out. Everything stank, including the bedding. We were given new pillows. The whole house was damp. To our surprise, we only found one bathroom, even though the description stated there should be a bathroom on the upper floor as well. The living room on the upper floor does not exist. The bedrooms on the upper floor are actually only 2 as the other 2 bedrooms are just sleeping corners where you cannot even stand up. Additionally, these sleeping corners do not have doors. Originally intended as small storage rooms. The photos are also very misleading as one assumes that the playground is on the large property behind the house. This is not the case. It is located on the neighboring property, so we could never leave the children unsupervised while playing, as they might run onto the street.
During rain, water would leak through the ceiling in the upper floor bedroom.
The landlord was very nice and informed us that the house would be completely renovated this year. I think that says a lot.
The water from the tap had a rusty taste and was brown all the time, but we were assured it was safe to drink. Since we had a 1 1/2-year-old child with us, we always used mineral water. The kitchen and the living room on the ground floor were fine, although the living room is not suitable for more than 5 people. We will not spend our holidays here again.
