An external staircase leads to the ground floor. As soon as you enter the hall, you can feel a cozy atmosphere due to the wood stove-from here you have access to the snack bar, the 1st bedroom; to the fully equipped kitchen, the shower bathroom with toilet, as well as a beautiful rustic wooden staircase, which leads to the upper floor.
The kitchen is equipped with all necessary electrical appliances (stove, dishwasher) and has direct access to the terrace and balcony. On the upper floor, you have a large, cozy living room for relaxing and chilling out, as well as for exciting TV evenings. A historic stove provides this room with soothing warmth.
Adjacent is the lovingly designed bedroom with hand-painted built-in wardrobes, ensuring a peaceful and restful sleep. Additionally, on this level, you have a second bathroom with a bathtub, sink, and toilet at your disposal.

Large fenced meadow and forest property - ideal for dog owners. In addition, good transport connections (bike and hiking trails directly in front of the house) or train station in 500m distance to come back in the evening with the regional train after the bike tour. Additional good traffic connection by road to start day trips.
This location in the valley with the road in the valley can lead to noise pollution: ideal house for holidaymakers who make day trips, not suitable for holidaymakers who are only looking for peace and quiet on the terrace.
Wolfach in the Black Forest is a spa town and ideally situated for day trips. There are also great shopping opportunities and restaurants

The house is a historical Black Forest house and not a luxury accommodation. It gives a good impression of how people lived here in the past.
We had storm damage and the roof is professionally covered with a tarp. The roof is sealed and the house is completely habitable - only from outside the property can the tarp be seen, so this should not bother you. For winter guests: Please note that the house is heated only with two wood stoves that warm the entire house very well. Cut firewood is available, however, you should already have experience with operating wood stoves and bring your own kindling.

Pure nature
This was the second time we stayed in the Black Forest House and I have to say that the owner has changed a lot of things and bought new things, so all in all we were very satisfied. The house was clean and tidy, even the fireplace was already burning when we arrived so we didn't have to sit cold. A cottage by the woods that delights people and dogs alike. However, if you otherwise reside in a 5 * hotel, you are in the wrong place, it is an old Black Forest house, which offers everything you need for a nice holiday, but no luxury and also according to the age of the house, who does not mind a few cobwebs, or some dust, will spend a wonderful time here.
We felt very comfortable and will come again.

Historic house
not standard accommodation, but a great old house - here you can relax by the fireplace and imagine what life was like in the Black Forest 100 years ago.
