Description

Our charming, spacious holiday home is located in the small village of Wahlendow, 30 minutes to the Baltic Sea. It is an estate manager's house from 1850, is romantically and quietly situated, has 240sqm and is designed for 6-9 people. French charm. For lovers of the special. with four bedrooms, a cosy kitchen, a dining room and a large living room with fireplace, it offers casual space. Two bathrooms, both not large, one barrier-free, the other with bathtub. away from the big tourist crowds just outside the gates of Usedom. A huge property with stable, barn, shed. Sunny and sheltered from the wind. In the garden there is a fireplace and a barbecue. It is pure peace, pure relaxation. From the house you go directly into the forest and the meadows, you are for yourself.

Directly next to forest and meadow in an idyllic, quiet village . Romantically situated with a view of natural meadows and forest. Cranes, deer and rare birds can be observed. A small lake lies within walking distance in the forest. The sea with a beautiful beach can be reached in half an hour by car, the harbour of Lassan is 15 minutes away. The Peene River is not far away. in the surrounding area there are manor houses, church ruins, burial mounds. horse riding, bicycle and canoe rental are nearby.

Dreamlike relaxation in the countryside

Really beautiful and stylish accommodation. We spent New Year's Eve here with friends, relaxing away from the hustle and bustle, cooking, walking, and sitting by the fireplace. Anytime again!

Very cosy holiday home

We had a great time. The house is so beautiful and very lovingly furnished. No utensils were missing. The kitchen is very well equipped
The rooms are large and each room is so individually furnished and there is a cosy atmosphere throughout the house. We lit the fireplace every day. There is plenty of wood for a small fee
There is a bakery in the village where we got fresh bread every day (don't be put off by the closed door, just go in).
From the house you can make beautiful excursions by bike or on foot. In summer you can swim in the lake. One evening we sat around a cosy campfire in the large garden. During the day you can watch deer. Take binoculars with you!
Even if you want to spend nice evenings cooking or playing games with friends or family, we can only recommend the house!!!!

Great place to relax

Also our second stay in the estate manager's house was again absolutely wonderful - the house is very lovingly furnished and equipped and really everything you need is there. Inside and especially outside in the huge garden there is plenty of space to play and linger. Lots of nature around and the sea can be reached in 30 minutes by car. And also very helpful and lovable hosts - we will definitely come back!

BBQ and campfire under the starry sky

At the beginning of autumn, we spent a week in Wahlendow with 6 adults. Although we booked very spontaneously, the house was perfectly prepared for our agreed arrival time. The landlords are very warm-hearted and gave us a very good introduction to the house and the estate.
Since we still had good weather, we extensively used the diverse possibilities on the huge property. Somewhere in the garden the sun always seemed to shine and if you were looking for peace, you always found a quiet corner for yourself. The perfect evening consisted of a barbecue, making music by the campfire and an impressive starry sky. There is no light pollution here. Therefore, on clear nights, the Milky Way, the planets and with some optical equipment, even deep sky objects can be observed directly from the garden.
The house corresponds exactly to the description. Only that in reality it is even more beautiful than the pictures show. We didn't miss anything. For guests looking for something special with a lot of charm, it is the perfect choice.
We would love to come back to Gutsverwalterhaus Wahlendow again. Thank you for the lovingly prepared accommodation!

Much more than one has expected ?

This vacation was a wonderful time with very special memories for all participants [4 adults and 4 children]. The house was very beautiful and super cozy. The needs of two families were more than satisfied. The property was well-maintained and as one of our children said: "how can one say NO to such a property."

Time for oneself and for each other in nature.

For us (2 adults and 5 children between 6 and 13 years old), not only was the touristically still quite unknown region between Anklam and Wolgast a discovery, but above all the spacious house, suitable for larger family groups, and idyllically located, with a well-kept garden area. The various areas (fruit trees, meadows, fire/grill area, trees and bushes, terrace) invite you to be outside. Just a few minutes by bike there is even a quiet forest lake with a swimming area. The house offers enough space and rooms for coming together or being alone. In the lovingly and individually designed rooms, you can experience both the history of these old manor houses and do things for which there is often too little time in everyday life: reading, painting, writing, playing, cooking, eating, and relaxing. From the small village (with its own bakery!), you can go on extensive walks, cycle through fields and meadows, or simply enjoy the tranquility. From there, you can take bike tours/hikes to other lakes, manor houses, castles, and a monastery ruin. By car, you can also reach the easy-going, quiet seaside resort of Lubmin with a clean, child-friendly Baltic Sea beach or Greifswald/Wiek. On the Peene River, you can also combine canoe tours with swimming fun. A beautiful place for sunny and rainy days in Western Pomerania!

Wonderful!

We (4 adults + 4 children aged 5-10) spent a wonderful, relaxed week at the Estate Manager's House Wahlendow in a quiet setting in beautiful nature. We were warmly welcomed and felt immediately comfortable in this great house, which has been lovingly and tastefully restored and furnished. Nothing is missing, including games and a comprehensive library. Whether by the fireplace, in the large dining room, or in the huge garden, we enjoyed everything very much. On the upper floor, there is a game gallery that the children have taken over immediately. We will definitely come back!
