The tile town of Boizenburg/Elbe is the westernmost town in Mecklenburg and belongs to the Hamburg metropolitan region. It is located at the border triangle with Lower Saxony and Schleswig-Holstein in the Elbe River Landscape UNESCO Biosphere Reserve
The town lies on the Elbe Cycle Path. Take extensive cycling trips on both sides of the Elbe. The bridge in Lauenburg and Dömitz as well as the Elbe ferries in Bleckede and Darchau allow for varied tours
Our holiday flat is located directly at the popular Boizenburg harbour. The museum ship "Minna" invites you to cultural events. The halls of the former Elbewerft are in the immediate vicinity. Until the fall of the Berlin Wall, inland passenger ships were built here. Now the halls are used by the sports boat club and some businesses.
