The flat is approx. 800 m from Sehlendorf beach.
The Sehlendorf beach is a beautiful stone-free and DLRG-monitored sandy beach with shallow water that is very suitable for families with children. The "Sehlendorfer Binnensee" nature reserve also begins there. On clear days, you have a great view across the bay to Denmark.
At the beach there is a beach chair rental (at the kiosk), several restaurants, a café, a snack bar and a surfing and sailing school.
