Description
Our house, with two holiday flats, is located in a rural setting, on the northern outskirts of the town, in a quiet cul-de-sac on the cycle and hiking path around Esens on the North Sea.
There is plenty of space to relax or romp around on the 2500 m² plot. Terrace with garden furniture, log cabin and barbecue are available for our guests. In just a few minutes' walk you can reach various children's playgrounds.
The beach and harbour in Bensersiel are approx. 4 km away.
There are some board games in the flat. For outside there is badminton and basketball.
For the smaller guests, there are a tricycle, scooter and kettcar, as well as a small sandbox incl. buckets and shovels.
Both holiday flats are similar in terms of furnishings.

Location and surroundings of object
Coming from Wittmund, turn right at the traffic light intersection towards Esens.
Coming from Aurich, go straight at the traffic light intersection towards Esens.
Follow the main road straight through two roundabouts until you reach the traffic light intersection to Bensersiel. There you will see the Esens Peldemühle on the left side. Turn left here and drive to the next pedestrian traffic light. Here, turn right towards Ostbense. Now drive approx. 300 m and then turn right towards Nordorf/Sterbur. Take the next possible street to the right. The second house on the left is your destination.
Esens is a small charming town with large and small shops, as well as appealing gastronomy.
The historic marketplace and the church square with the Junker Balthasar fountain invite you to linger. The surroundings can be easily explored by bicycle. You can visit various museums or go to the "Klabautermann" with the children. In Bensersiel there is a large playground, as well as the North Sea Adventure Land and the indoor pool Nordsee-Therme. From the beach you can reach the former outdoor pool area; here you will now find, among other things, a "surf wave". From Bensersiel you can take the ferry to the island of Langeoog, enjoy trips to the seal banks, or go on a mudflat hike (only with a mudflat guide!!).

Esens and tranquility
We spent a short vacation in September 2023 in the apartment. The apartment was spotlessly clean and the beds were made. The shower room with toilet is brightly tiled. The entrance door, bathroom, and both bedrooms have fixed insect screens. The living kitchen is fully equipped including a dining table for 6 people. What is not available is a dishwasher and in my opinion, it is not necessary. The living room is nicely furnished, has a shared living room cabinet, a two-seater and a three-seater sofa, and an armchair. The garage is the place where bicycles can be stored. Our hosts are very friendly and nice people. What we particularly liked is that it is a bit out of the way, the peace and quiet there is simply wonderful. Right in front of the property, one of the bike paths "around Esens" begins. All in all, a very relaxing vacation. I think we will come back.

It was beautiful
We rented both flats between the years and felt very comfortable there. Everything was there except for a dishwasher. We would gladly come again.

Immer wieder
We have now been at the holiday home of the Diener family for the 3rd time. Here you can relax and also reach Esens or Bensersiel in a few minutes. We were there with 4 people and can only recommend the house.
