Description
This detached, high-quality furnished holiday home benefits from its wonderful location directly on the Bay of Carteret, opposite the local marina. The tenant enjoys the view of the constant change of ebb and flow.
The house has 2 levels: garden level and ground floor.
On the GARDEN LEVEL/raised ground floor is the living room with fireplace as well as the dining area designed for 6 people. Here you can choose to relax in front of the fireplace, watch TV, use the internet (WiFi), or simply look out the window and enjoy the "ballet" of the boats.
On this level there is the modern, very well-equipped kitchen, one bedroom (double bed 140cm + wardrobe), and a second bedroom with 2 single beds each 90cm plus wardrobe, as well as a bathroom with shower and separate WC.
On the GROUND FLOOR there is the garage (with washing machine, dryer, and parking space for a car) and another bedroom (double bed 160cm) as well as a bathroom with shower and a separate WC. Furthermore, two bicycles are available, which, for liability reasons, are not part of the rental contract.

Location and surroundings of object
The house is located in a quiet residential area right by the sea. From the house you have direct access to the sea and the marshland (Havre) and “around the corner” to the beach (100 m).
The small, cozy seaside resort Barneville-plage is one half of the merged town Barneville-Carteret, which has been attracting holidaymakers since 1830.
In the center of Barneville you will find all shops for daily needs as well as the weekly market, 2.6 km from the holiday home. The tourist information is also located here.
At the entrance to the beach of Barneville there is a promenade and a beach bar (Carpe Diem). There you can – in summer sometimes with live music – have a snack (waffles, ice cream, etc.) or simply enjoy the sunset in peace with a cocktail. By the way, it’s not only spectacular in summer!
The charming center of the so-called sophisticated seaside resort Carteret not only houses various nice little shops, but also a 3-star restaurant and a cinema. In summer, there is a splendid weekly market on Saturdays.
On the way to the lighthouse “Le Phare” you pass beautiful Belle Époque villas. From the lighthouse you can reach the kilometer-long beach of Hatainville at Cap de Carteret via a footpath – one of the most beautiful on the whole peninsula. Through the adjacent vast dune landscape of Hatainville there are wonderful circular trails. Even in the high season, hikers can still find peace and relaxation here.

Arrive, feel good, be happy
We spent a week in this beautiful house and felt very comfortable from the very beginning.
Everything was just perfect.
The great service and advice during the booking, the straightforward processing, and the information before the trip were excellent.
Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed.
The house is super beautiful and very clean.
The amenities leave nothing to be desired, and the location and view are fantastic.
We have already booked again for next year.

Dream House
Super great house, leaves no wishes unfulfilled in terms of amenities and location, as well as very nice landlords and an uncomplicated agency. We would rent it again anytime.

Christmas vacation in Barneville.
We spent our Christmas vacation at House Claire. The house is very cozy, spotlessly clean, well equipped, and the view is fantastic. The landlady is very warm and helpful. The landscape is breathtaking and varied. In short: "A perfect vacation!" Best regards from the Westerwald.

Wonderful holiday destination
We were able to spend two wonderful weeks in the beautiful House Claire - also due to the midsummer weather.
For nature lovers, the location on the bay is great: experience the play of low and high tide every day, walk a few steps over the dune to go swimming, have an endless sandy beach to yourself, watch birds on the mudflats.
The house is spotlessly clean and well equipped, the landlady very friendly and helpful.

Great summer holidays with the whole family
We were able to enjoy our holidays in this beautiful house at the beginning of summer 2022. Our whole family had a wonderful, relaxing stay.
The house is small but very nice and has a large garden. Our old dog lady and the children enjoyed it very much. The proximity to the beach made it very easy for us, so we could go swimming with the kids without much effort, the beach is a short walk away.
The house is very clean, well equipped and there were even accessories for children like toys, child seat etc. directly on site.
A special thanks goes to the very nice house owner who helped us a lot on arrival after we had a flat tyre
We would come back anytime and would recommend the house to anyone :)

Es hat einfach alles gepasst.
Der tolle Service und die Beratung bei der Buchung, die unkomplizierte Abwicklung und die Informationen vor Reisebeginn waren ausgezeichnet.
Bei der Ankunft wurden wir sehr herzlich empfangen.
Das Haus ist super schön und sehr sauber.
Die Ausstattung lässt keine Wünsche offen und die Lage und Aussicht ist fantastisch.
Wir haben bereits für nächstes Jahr wieder gebucht.
Für Naturliebhaber ist die Lage an der Bucht großartig: jeden Tag das Spiel von Ebbe und Flut erleben, mit wenigen Schritten über die Düne zum Schwimmen gehen, einen endlosen Sandstrand für sich alleine haben, Vögel im Watt beobachten.
Das Haus ist blitzsauber und gut ausgestattet, die Vermieterin sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Das Haus ist klein aber sehr fein und hat einen grossen Garten. Unsere alte Hundedame und die Kinder haben diesen sehr genossen. Die Strandnähe haben es uns sehr einfach gemacht, so konnten wir ohne grossen Aufwand mit den Kids schwimmen gehen, der Strand liegt einen kurzen Fussmarsch entfernt.
Das Haus ist sehr sauber, gut ausgestattet und es gab sogar Zubehör für Kinder wie Spielzeug, Kindersitz etc. direkt vor Ort.
Ein besonderer Dank geht an die sehr nette Hausbesitzerin welche uns bei der Ankunft sehr geholfen hat, nachdem wir eine Reifenpanne hatten.
Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und empfehlen das Haus gerne jedem weiter :)
