Location and surroundings of object
The house is located in a quiet residential area right by the sea. From the house you have direct access to the sea and, through the dunes and the marshland (Havre), to the beach (100 m).
The small, cozy seaside resort Barneville-plage is one half of the merged town Barneville-Carteret, which has been attracting holidaymakers since 1830. In Barneville-plage there are a number of small shops for daily needs, which are within walking distance (bakery, butcher, groceries). There is a small promenade where you have the opportunity to grab a bite to eat or enjoy the sunset with a cocktail.
The regular town center of Barneville, with its shops and weekly market, is about 1.5 km away. There is also a tourist information office here.
The charming, picturesque center of the seaside resort Carteret is home not only to various nice little shops, but also to a 3-star restaurant and a cinema. In summer, there is a splendid weekly market on Saturdays.
On the way to the lighthouse "Le Phare" you pass beautiful Belle Époque villas. From the lighthouse, you can reach the kilometer-long beach of Cap de Carteret via a footpath—one of the most beautiful on the entire peninsula. Through the adjacent vast dune landscape of Hatainville, there are wonderful circular trails. Even in the high season, hikers can still find peace and relaxation here.

Dream House
Super great house, leaves no wishes unfulfilled in terms of amenities and location, as well as very nice landlords and an uncomplicated agency. We would rent it again anytime.

Christmas vacation in Barneville.
We spent our Christmas vacation at House Claire. The house is very cozy, spotlessly clean, well equipped, and the view is fantastic. The landlady is very warm and helpful. The landscape is breathtaking and varied. In short: "A perfect vacation!" Best regards from the Westerwald.

Wonderful holiday destination
We were able to spend two wonderful weeks in the beautiful House Claire - also due to the midsummer weather.
For nature lovers, the location on the bay is great: experience the play of low and high tide every day, walk a few steps over the dune to go swimming, have an endless sandy beach to yourself, watch birds on the mudflats.
The house is spotlessly clean and well equipped, the landlady very friendly and helpful.

Great summer holidays with the whole family
We were able to enjoy our holidays in this beautiful house at the beginning of summer 2022. Our whole family had a wonderful, relaxing stay.
The house is small but very nice and has a large garden. Our old dog lady and the children enjoyed it very much. The proximity to the beach made it very easy for us, so we could go swimming with the kids without much effort, the beach is a short walk away.
The house is very clean, well equipped and there were even accessories for children like toys, child seat etc. directly on site.
A special thanks goes to the very nice house owner who helped us a lot on arrival after we had a flat tyre
We would come back anytime and would recommend the house to anyone :)
