The holiday home is a holiday home ideally for 2 people. Already in the morning you can enjoy the view of the lake while having breakfast.
The holiday home has a living room with corner sofa, coffee table, dining area, and open fitted kitchen. The bedroom is equipped with a double bed measuring 180cm x 200cm and an open foot end. Large wardrobe with full-length mirror and thus also sufficient space to store your holiday items. All windows in the holiday house have insect screens and all windows are equipped with external blinds. Smoking in the holiday house is not desired.
The bathroom with shower, hand basin, and toilet is on the east side.
In the kitchen you will find complete dishes and glasses, pots and pans, bowls and salad bowls, cutlery and knives. Refrigerator with freezer compartment, coffee machine, electric kettle, and toaster. 4-burner electric stove with oven and convection. Digital television set and a wooden radio in "retro look." The back of the holiday house is also very interesting. The back offers you a nice spot when the wind comes from the wrong direction. Here, too, you will find a covered and an uncovered terrace. We have planted climbing roses and, with a bit of luck, you will see the squirrel jumping from tree to tree.

The holiday home is located directly on Lake Dobbertin, specifically in Helmsrade and in the middle of the Mecklenburg Lake District of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and near the Schwinzer Heide.
The monastery village of Dobbertin is about 1 km away, so the holiday home is away from mass tourism or large hotel complexes. Here, in the middle of the nature of the Mecklenburg Lake District, the birds are already chirping in the morning. Undisturbed, you can watch the sea eagle from the terrace, listen to the call of the cranes, and at the same time enjoy the peace. Here it gets so dark at night that this region has applied for the status of a star park.

Arrival and departure day is preferably Saturday. The house is rented by the week.
Arrival time > early afternoon and departure in the early morning. You do not pay any tourist tax in Dobbertin!!! for your holiday, as you might in other holiday destinations. Take the opportunity and explore Dobbertin, for example with an ornithological boat trip on Lake Dobbertin with the MS Condor. The MS Condor is the only small passenger ship allowed to operate on Lake Dobbertin. Visit the monastery complex and take a guided tour.
You can sit very comfortably in the Kentzler ice cream café and enjoy their homemade cakes—a real treat. The highlight is a visit to Zwei Linden. Here you can authentically experience the village pub and country inn of Dobbertin. Home-style cooking just like mom used to make. All dishes here are handmade and home-cooked.
