Special eye-catchers include the new sauna (infrared), which is integrated into the house for sole use, and the new kitchen, which has been completed since April 2022.

150 metres to the Oste with harbour and jetty and only 3 km to the climatic health resort Wingst. 25 km to the North Sea resort of Otterndorf. The bakery, restaurant ship Ostekieker or restaurant Kombüse are only a few minutes' walk from the holiday home.
Spend a relaxing holiday in the holiday resort of Oberndorf an der Oste. Treat yourself to a break from the hectic pace of everyday life.
You will live on around 100 sqm of living space. You can prepare your own meals in the well-equipped kitchen. There is a 4-plate ceramic hob (plus a hot plate) with an oven and a microwave. A coffee machine (filter) is available to prepare your morning coffee. There is also a toaster and a kettle. The dishwasher does the dishes. Of course, there is also a refrigerator and a freezer. There is also a tumble dryer in the kitchen. The dining table can be extended to around 200 cm. So there is room for up to 8 people at the table.
The cosy living room offers a wood-burning stove for the cooler evenings. A large living landscape and other seating areas offer enough space for up to 8 people. 2 sofas can be converted into a sofa bed.
Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms (1 x with smart TV). The bed dimensions are 90 cm x 200 cm. There are 6 beds on the upper floor, 1 of which is a double bed. In addition, the bathroom with shower area and tub (and WC, washbasin) is located on the upper floor. On the ground floor there is another bathroom/guest WC with washing machine, washbasin, WC.
Directly from the kitchen you come to the terrace. Garden furniture is available there from approx. May to the end of October (depending on the weather).
The garden and terrace area is fenced in.
You can park in front of the house (other side of the house), on the street or on other public parking spaces not far away.
The house was built over 100 years ago and then completely renovated in 1997. Attention was paid to the original appearance of the house. Due to the use of wooden materials, as in the staircase and also the wooden beam ceiling, there is also a "creaking" of the wood. On the other hand, the floors on the upper floor are not as cold as tiled floors.

Leisure: In Wingst there is a zoo, a play and sports park with summer toboggan run, outdoor and indoor swimming pool with giant slide, pony rides, bicycle rental. Large forest areas invite you to go hiking or cycling. Or spend a day at the beach in the North Sea resort of Otterndorf (approx. 22 km). The beaches in Cuxhaven are about 35 - 40 kilometres away. Here you can join guided mudflat walks, e.g. to Neuwerk, or relax on the sandy beach or take the boat to Helgoland. Visit the historic towns in the area such as Otterndorf, Stade, Buxtehude. Or take a city stroll in Bremen, Bremerhaven, Cuxhaven or Hamburg. Experience the beautiful Osteland. Ideal for a family holiday - also possible with a dog.
Oberndorf is situated between Stade and Cuxhaven with beautiful old and restored half-timbered houses along the Oste. Ideal for those seeking relaxation, nature lovers, cyclists, hikers, water walkers with their own boat or canoe, for families also with dog. Ideal for divers - the district lake is only a few kilometres away.
