Description

The holiday home is located in Hennstedt-Horst in a small holiday home development. It has two floors and from the first floor you can look over the dyke directly onto the Eider.

On the lower floor there is a bedroom with a double bed (160 cm wide) with a view of the dyke, a living/dining room with kitchenette, a bathroom (shower room) and a conservatory. On the upper floor is the second bedroom with a double bed (140 cm wide). There is also a digital piano and a desk in this room. There is also a second bathroom (shower room). There is also an open-plan room. This invites you to watch birds (spotting scope available), follow the colourful goings-on on the Eider, paint (easel available), read, do yoga, meditate or ... there is also a TV corner with satellite TV.

The small garden with the covered terrace faces east, which means you can have breakfast in the morning sun.

The house is equipped with a canoe for 2-3 people, a sit-on-top kayak and two bicycles.

Dogs are welcome by prior arrangement.

Hennstedt - Horst is a district of Hennstedt in Dithmarschen. Here you can go for long walks or enjoy a nice bike ride. There are lots of animals to watch, deer, herons, lapwings, ducks and geese, to name but a few. I have also spotted a bluethroat and several reed buntings. In Hennstedt, 4 kilometres away, you can buy everything you need for your daily needs. Heide, 14 km away, has many shops and a large weekly market on Saturdays. The North Sea can be reached in approx. 30 minutes by car, Sankt Peter Ording in approx. 40 minutes by car. Many attractions are in the immediate vicinity, such as the Stone Age Park in Albersdorf, the cathedral in Meldorf and the beautiful Speicherkoog. The stork village of Bergenhusen can be reached in 30 minutes by car.
The bathing and canoeing area is 800 metres away.
