The North Sea resort of Burhave is located on the Butjadingen peninsula and offers relaxation and recreation. Our house is located in the immediate vicinity of the green and sandy beach. The children's paradise 'Spielscheune',a large covered adventure area, the North Sea lagoon is right by the sea. Fedderwardersiel a small fishing village you can reach by bike or on foot directly along the dyke. Bremerhaven can be reached by ferry across the Weser, a short sea trip or through the Weser tunnel. Klimahaus ,Auswandererhaus and the Zoo am Meer are worth a visit. At the Kitebrothers directly on the beach you can learn to kite and book a short course, or go stand-up paddling. After the exertion, drink a delicious cocktail.

We really enjoyed our stay with the Abel family.
The apartment matches the description exactly. Restaurants and the beach are easily accessible on foot.

All in all, it was a pleasant holiday.

First, we must say that the vacation accommodation is easier to reach by car than by plane or by bus and train. We had to change trains two or three times to get from Bremen Central Station to the accommodation. So, a car would definitely be advantageous. The holiday accommodation was very clean. There were enough kitchen utensils available. The Wadden Sea was reachable in approx. 10-15 minutes on foot. The landlady was very kind. She even drove us to the supermarket on Saturday evening when we arrived because we had to do a lot of shopping and the supermarkets were about to close. A negative point was also that the buses only ran once an hour, so if we missed the bus, we had to wait 1 hour. However, the landlady is not to blame for that. Having a car would also be advantageous. The weather was unfortunately not as we had imagined. All in all, it was a pleasant vacation. We would definitely recommend the accommodation. Whether we will come back is unclear, as the distance is simply too far and inconvenient for us. Thank you, Mrs. Abel, for the short but lovely days!

Ich hatte im voraus gesagt das man noch mit Bus und Bahn fahren muss,wenn man mit dem Flugzeug anreist. Das die Busse jede Stunde fahren ist kein negativer Punkt Butjadingen liegt auf einer Halbinsel ,wir sind nicht in einer Stadt wo es alle paar Minuten eine Verkehrs anbindung gibt.

Oh, I had totally forgotten to post a review here. We stayed in this great apartment for a week. The reception was very warm and the nice Mrs. Abel showed us to our cute little apartment and showed us everything. The beds were very comfortable and the apartment was spotlessly clean. Everything you need for cooking is available and plenty of it. We were able to store our rented bicycles in Abel's garage so we didn't have to worry about them being stolen. Burhave is a very nice place and you don't really need a car when you're there :) Since we liked it so much, we immediately booked again for this year. We are bringing dear friends with us for the neighbor's apartment to the right of us, so we are very much looking forward to our stay.

Great family vacation

We had fantastic days in Burhave. We were very kindly welcomed by Mrs. Abel and received the most important information. Even during our time there, she provided us with helpful tips.
The apartment is very well equipped. We didn't miss anything.
Our boys immediately claimed the children's room.
The distance to the water is optimal. There are plenty of shopping options nearby and also plenty of restaurants.
