First Holiday Apartment
We were on site with three older children for two weeks, and I can only agree with the reviews of the predecessors regarding the FwWo. There was enough space and it was well equipped for self-catering. Yes, the apartment is in the basement, but that doesn't bother us. Yes, it is not the newest furnishings - but that didn't bother us either, it is practical and tidy. The children could quickly run out (to the swimming pool or mini-golf). The house is centrally located and yet quiet - you don't notice the main road and the hustle of the waterfalls is far away. The journey by train and bus works great (since 05/2025 with a mobility ticket throughout the Salzburg region at no extra cost - if that's not an argument!). Groceries are conveniently and well sorted available across the street. The tourism association takes care of its vacationers: brass band concert, open-air cinema, guided hikes, and a tourism market (also lets the kids simply go into the pool without extra admission...). We really enjoyed the time - among other things, we were able to go on very beautiful hikes in the mountains! Clear recommendation - especially because it still makes an affordable vacation with a "large" family possible. Thank you very much!

Gladly again!
Because we liked it so much last year, we immediately rented from Mr. Peukert again. Beautiful place (especially in summer) and perfect location right by the swimming pool and the mini-golf course, with a ground-level exit at the back.
The apartment is probably one of the largest in the house and more than sufficient for 4 people. Everything has been thought of in the furnishings; you can tell that the host sometimes uses the apartment himself. Gastronomy and shopping options are easily accessible on foot, excursions by car often go to the neighboring Zillertal or the Grossglockner road. The Krimml Waterfalls can be visited for free with the guest card, and for the Gerlos Pass road, it is best to buy a 3-week ticket. As a special highlight, we planned a hiking tour from the Krimmler Achental (hiking bus) into the Wildgerlostal, unforgettable. Thank you very much to Mr. Peukert and many more satisfied guests.

*****Super cozy and a top location*****
Since we were looking for a new place to stay in Austria at very short notice (the actual apartment elsewhere turned out to be a disaster), we found this great apartment after some time. I received an immediate response and everything went smoothly, so we were able to arrive the next day after arranging it. From then on, our dream vacation began, with a view of the Krimml Waterfalls. The apartment is in a great central location and we had everything we needed on site. Mini golf and outdoor pool right outside the door, and you don't have to go far to shop.
The apartment is well equipped, you really have everything you need for your household. In addition, you can sit in a small garden area in front of the patio door. We were very enthusiastic, had a very nice time, and will definitely come back.
Thanks again to the very friendly landlord who saved our vacation. :-)
