Description
Our holiday home is located about 15 km west of Toulon in Six Fours les Plages, in the middle of a French residential area.
Because the house is situated on a peninsula, the sea can be reached at different beaches in a driving time of 5-10 min. each.
La Bastide offers sleeping possibilities for 6-7 persons in 3 rooms.
On the first floor there is a bedroom with 2 beds and a bathroom with shower.
In the converted attic there is a double bed (140 cm) and a single bed. The attic is mainly used by the children because of its low room height.
Another bedroom with 2 beds and washing facilities is located in the "cabanon", a converted outbuilding.
In the garden there is a very pleasant outdoor shower and toilet, which is very popular in summer.
The kitchen has a fridge with freezer compartment (another fridge is in the cabanon), a dishwasher, a gas cooker and a gas oven, as well as a coffee machine and an expresso machine.
There is a sufficient supply of crockery.
The dining area in the summer months is under a shady grape arbor.
However, it is also possible to eat in the kitchen. Adjacent to the living room is a conservatory which offers a little more space in the dry in rainy weather (which is quite unknown in the south of France).
At the house a beautiful Mediterranean garden invites you to laze around.

Location and surroundings of object
The house is located in a mature residential area of ??France. In the environment there are no other cottages. The location is very quiet, just like in an old residential area. There is no traffic noise here. Within walking distance are 2 bakeries, a small supermarket, a pharmacy, a newspaper / tobacco shop, a caterer and a discounter. For everything else you need the car. A parking lot is next to the house, more cars have to be parked on the street. Six-Fours-les-Plages is a large community with various districts. The village is located about 15 km west of Toulon.

We really enjoyed it.
The house is very well equipped, the garden is lovely, and the outdoor shower is very refreshing.
We spent most of our time in the cozy wine arbor. The neighbors were all very nice.
There is a lot to experience in the vicinity of the house, numerous beaches are easily reachable by car in a few minutes, and in most cases, there are free parking options. We went hiking on Mont Gom, took the bus boat in Toulon (1 Euro per person per trip with the 10-ticket, on board 2 Euros), paddled with the canoe in the Calanques, visited the Ile de Gou, and simply enjoyed the beautiful landscape.
We would love to come back!!!

Summer vacation with family
We had booked for 2 weeks at the end of July. Everything went wonderfully well. Our landlord also explained everything about the process very well. The house is quite charming, even though it could use a little refreshment in the interior. It is not modernly furnished, but authentic instead. We felt very comfortable. Everything we needed was also there. We liked the garden with the shower and toilet :) We also liked the location, as the area is quiet. We had a nice time with the children. We would love to come back. Mr. Pfirrmann was very nice. Thank you very much, Mr. Pfirrmann!

Great holiday home
A cozy, small holiday home equipped with everything needed. Supermarket and grocery stores nearby. Due to its central location, many beautiful beaches and attractions are easily accessible. We really liked it.

Sweet house with French charm
I was a tenant of this cute cottage in Six Four in April of this year.
It is very quiet, surrounded by French neighbors.
Lovingly furnished with French charm, it offers a great starting point for trips to the charming area of Bandol wine and the southern French way of life.
I would highly recommend trips to Sanary or to the Calanques.
Several beaches can be reached in just a few minutes. But if you just want to spend a relaxed day at home, you can use the beautiful garden with its shady lounging areas. An outdoor shower is available for cooling off which I eagerly used.
And enjoying a rosé wine in the evening at the round table under the vine arbor is just great.
What struck me is that there are hardly any foreign tourists here. This area is probably mainly used by French people. I found it very relaxing.
I would strongly recommend bringing a bicycle, as you experience the area differently and avoid the hassle of finding parking at the beaches, although it wasn't very busy in April.
The contact with the landlords is very relaxed and easygoing.
All in all, a great vacation.
