The holiday home is situated in a quiet location on the outskirts of the village. There are several other restaurants in the village that can be reached in a few minutes. The resort on the northern edge of the Harz Mountains near Wernigerode is well developed for tourism and offers a wide range of leisure and recreational opportunities. It is an ideal starting point for hikes. The Brocken is just 13 km away. A new, well-maintained forest swimming pool, a tourist information centre and a multi-purpose hall with regular events round off the village.
