The holiday apartment is located in a detached single-family house and is furnished in a typical local style and functional manner. The domicile is also popular due to its quiet and sunny location.
Location
Neuendorf (Hiddensee). The holiday apartment is located on an open plot with a meadow. The landlord lives permanently in the house but uses a separate entrance. In the original fisherman's house in the typical local style with a thatched roof, completely renovated in 1996, the holiday apartments RUE HID 001 and RUE HID 002 (each for 3 people) are located in the attic. Cars are parked on the mainland in secure car parks - Hiddensee is car-free.

The entrance to your holiday apartment is located on the top floor and leads directly into the living room via an internal staircase. Living kitchen (walk-through room) with 1 extra bed on couch/sofa, sitting area, TV and radio. Bedroom with 1 double bed. Kitchenette in the living kitchen with dining area (3 seats), electric stove (ceramic hob, 2 plates), refrigerator, coffee machine, toaster and electric kettle. Bathroom with shower, 1 washbasin, toilet, hairdryer and window.

Smoking is not allowed in the premises.

I would describe the furnishings as "normal" - in a positive sense. As it was our first stay on Hiddensee, I don't have a meaningful standard of comparison. The location plus the freedom from cars is certainly "special", although this is not specific to this apartment, but to the island per se.
