Very nice cottage with good amenities. The location is excellent, right by the dunes and the beach, and the city center is also quickly accessible on foot. The landlady is very nice and helpful. We will come back.

Beautiful holiday home in a prime location

We had a wonderful week in this truly lovingly furnished holiday cottage. No old furniture and a very comfortable bed. Even the stairs are easy to handle for us Germans. Mrs. T.-K. is a very kind landlord and we would love to come back. Thank you very much!

Cozy little holiday home with great amenities.

Unfortunately, I was only a guest here with my dog for a short week. The location is ideal, directly opposite the dunes and not far from the beach or the village.

The contact with the landlady beforehand was pleasant and uncomplicated, and on-site, I was kindly welcomed by Mrs. Tjassens Keiser.

The equipment is lovingly designed, and you immediately feel comfortable. This was also surely because of the fresh flowers and the bottle of wine - thanks again for that! First of all, everything you need is available, the kitchen is fully equipped. I especially liked the quite large bathroom. The bedrooms are upstairs and accessible via a staircase that is not as steep as I am used to.

I was particularly pleased that my four-legged friend is also welcome here. I can wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation and will gladly come back :-)

Top Ferienhaus

We have been coming back to Egmond aan Zee for many years and have rented several holiday homes here. The Zeewind is definitely the most lovingly furnished house. The large bathroom with its own sink is atypical for holiday homes in this area and a big plus for us. Additionally, a fully equipped kitchen that is not stocked with "leftover" appliances and dishes. The beds are comfortable. Fresh flowers and a heater already turned on provided a warm welcome in every sense. The landlady is friendly and uncomplicated. The location, just a few steps from the beach and directly opposite the entrance to the dune reserve, is ideal. The house is well suited for a family with two children or two couples who get along well. We will come back!

Very good highly recommended accommodation.

We felt completely comfortable in the small cottage. Everything clean and well-maintained. Due to the excellent location near the beach and town center, we could do everything on foot in Egmond. Our favorite pavilion, the "Zilvermeeuw," is just around the corner. We will gladly come back.

super nice landlady, great and clean house

Here you will find everything your heart desires. Even high chair, baby bathtub, children's chairs and toys for the beach, as well as children's cutlery and plates. The house is very clean and renovated. Also, the bathroom with sink is not standard everywhere.

Very nice little cottage!!!

We can only recommend this holiday home! A very nice landlady, wonderful location, clean, cozy, and just very beautiful! We were two adults, two small children (2 years and 11 months old), and a dog. We had enough space in the house, and the small terrace encouraged our children to play. The children had their own space for sleeping. They stayed in the actual parent's bedroom. So we were able to close the door and watch TV in peace in the evening without the children being disturbed. We slept in the adjoining room. It was great like that!

The bathroom with windows is very nice and, above all, equipped with a sink, which is not usual for holiday homes in Holland!

In the kitchen, you will find everything you need. Even dishes and cutlery for the little ones! Just a bit more dishes would be great for the adults ;)

We will come back next year and are already looking forward to it!

nice small holiday house directly at the dunes

After a nice welcome by the friendly landlady, you are taken on a small tour of the house, during which everything is shown. The eye immediately falls on the nicely set table with a welcome gift for young and old. Mrs. Keiser is always available for further questions in a friendly manner. The house is clean, tidy, and nicely furnished. The colorful bed linen in particular gives a cheerful and friendly impression. In the kitchen you will find everything you need, even dish soap and coffee filters were available. A lighter for the gas stove was also provided. Plastic dishes and cutlery are even available for the little ones. The cabinets and storage options are generously provided, and the four of us did not fill everything up.
The newly renovated daylight bathroom is really well done.
Overall, the house is highly recommended as it is very close to the dunes and the beach. Even the way to the center is easily manageable even with younger children. We would love to come back - thank you very much for the lovely vacation, we were completely satisfied.

Small and cute in close proximity to the beach.

After now being here for the second time, and surely not the last, here is a review from us:

The house is sufficiently spacious and functionally furnished for 3 to a maximum of 4 people.
With 4 people, it may be a bit tight for sleeping depending on the situation but definitely doable. The beds consist of individual bed frames pushed together, which unfortunately tend to shift at night depending on sleeping habits, especially if one has a restless sleep like me.
However, these individual frames also provide the opportunity to rearrange the bedrooms as needed without much effort.
A small issue for me was the rather thin blankets and the large, firm pillows that are difficult to scrunch together. However, this is certainly an individual feeling and might be just right for someone else. If you tend to get cold at night, you should better bring an additional woolen blanket unless you want to enrich the bedroom with heating warmth. The noise of the heater can be quite loud when it starts, depending on how you set it at night. Simply turn it down significantly before going to bed, and this problem will also be quickly resolved. Storage space for clothes, etc. is plentiful. It is absolutely spacious, and even with 4 people, we were not able to completely fill it.

The kitchen and living room are rather small but are sufficiently large for the short time one spends there, hopefully in good weather.

The entrance area is surprisingly spacious so that bikes, all kinds of shoes, or a wagon can be stored indoors without any problems. The overall equipment leaves me with no wishes unfulfilled, except perhaps for a washing machine (which I would need with my two little buddies and a two-week stay) and accordingly a laundry rack. For me, everything is available in terms of electrical appliances that I need. It is not luxurious but absolutely sufficient and practical. The absolute highlight for me (us) is the newly renovated bathroom with a window, which is an absolute rarity in the local houses, as most holiday accommodations of this kind have an interior bathroom without proper ventilation. The stairs are indeed a little steep but manageable without accidents with the appropriate care and attention (my 5-year-old daughter managed it without slipping or falling once :-) )
It might be more difficult for younger children to navigate the stairs alone.
The landlady herself is super nice, open, and kind, and we immediately felt welcome, especially with a lovingly arranged small flower and wine greeting each time. Your warm manner makes it very easy to arrive quickly.

All in all, we can only recommend this little house, especially for families or couples looking for uncomplicated holidays with children in close proximity to the beach.

Super beautiful!

First of all, thank you very much to the Keiser family. We spent a wonderful week with them. The house was in a clean condition and equipped with everything you need. Unfortunately, the stairs are really dangerous. The surroundings are simply fantastic. The beach can be reached in 1 minute and the city in 5 minutes. We have recovered very well and will definitely come back.

Close to the beach, nicely furnished

We stayed at the holiday house for a week. It is really only one minute away from the beach and just opposite are the dunes. It only takes a few minutes to walk to the village as well. It is located in a quiet area and has its own entrance. However, it smelled like smoke, which was not very pleasant for non-smokers. The living room is nicely furnished and has everything you need, just like the kitchen. The bathroom would need to be renovated since there is no sink and it is not very hygienically clean. The stairs to the upper floor are very steep, unacceptable for children, and hard to climb with luggage. The bedroom is large with plenty of storage space. Here you will also find the sink. Outside the house, you can sit comfortably. The landlady was also very nice and accommodating.

Very simple and unappealing

An old, very small house with a very steep staircase leading upstairs and an unsuitable bathroom without a sink/mirror. The toilet is directly next to the shower, separated only by a curtain. The terrace is untidy and surrounded by walls. The terrace furniture was in very poor condition. The TV only offers 2 German channels. This place urgently needs renovation and new furnishings. We will not spend our vacation here again.

Vicinity of the holiday home: Dieser Stadteil ist wenig ansprechend, sehr zugebaut, die
Gehwege sind mit Hundekot verschmutzt. Kein Bäcker od. Lebensmittelgeschäft in unmittelbarer Nähe.

free time activities: Waren nicht auffällig. Evtl. Radfahren, aber, dieses ist
ausgerechnet in Holland sehr teuer. Fahrradverleih für 1 Tag = 15 Euro.

shopping facilities: Die Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in Egmond-Mitte sind vorhanden, aber sehr teuer. Ebenso die Gastronomie, sehr teuer und alles andere als gut.In der Touristikinformation, VVV, ist man weder der deutschen noch der englischen Sprache mächtig.

Fully furnished holiday home, centrally located, beautiful small terrace for evening meals in the garden. The apartment is fully equipped with everything you need and completely matched the description. In the village itself, you are also directly there, *5 min, and there are opportunities to shop and buy souvenirs. There are two grocery stores in the area. A bicycle rental is available in the village with very good and affordable bicycles for rent, 7.50 per day. We spent two wonderful weeks here. Family Tjasssens Keiser, thank you so much. Everything was perfect: the holiday home, the dunes, beach/sea, the surroundings, the cozy town center. We will definitely come back.
