Short holiday in Hesse

We felt very comfortable with Andre and Frank! The flat is in a nice, quiet location, so we were able to relax well. We will gladly come back again. The Vogelsberg and Büdingen are worth a visit.

A place to feel good

We spent 10 great days with André and Frank with 3 children. They are very helpful and gave us great tips on what to do locally and in the surrounding area. The flat is clean and well furnished. If anything was missing, we were helped quickly. This will definitely not be the last time we stay there.

Not suitable for large families.

We were here for a short vacation of 5 nights, the double beds were sagging so we had to switch with the children and sleep separately, the single beds upstairs, which were also the living room, made such noises that one did not dare to make a wrong movement in bed to not wake up their partner. Furthermore, an oven was described as equipment in the description that we were looking for until departure, which was very unfortunate because we wanted to bake a birthday cake for our daughter. A small kitchen and insufficient dishes rounded off the domicile for large families, which was an absolute no-go for us is that the landlord was in the holiday apartment during our absence and left the missing plug for the sink, goodbye privacy. My assessment of the accommodation for assembly workers is okay but not for a family of 6.

Wir sind immer bemüht unseren Service weiter zu verbessern. Wie Ihnen schon bei der Anreise gesagt ist für dieses Jahr eine neue Küche geplant und auch das große Schlafzimmer wollen wir dieses Jahr komplett renovieren (inclusive Betten).
Ob das Preis / Leistungsverhältnis aber wirklich nur eine 2 verdient hat? Sie zahlten 80€ (incl. Bettwäsche, Handtücher, Strom, Wasser, Heizung & Steuern) für 6 Personen in einer 85m² Wohnung.

Beautiful vacation rental

I can only recommend the vacation apartment. Especially worth mentioning are the very nice landlords. If needed, you can also order fresh eggs from their own chickens or even get freshly made pasta. The location is very convenient to Frankfurt. The surroundings are nice and quiet and invite you to take small walks or even hikes. We had a great time.

Recommended holiday apartment

Very nice landlords, so that we immediately felt very comfortable with our two dogs.
A great price-performance ratio.

Highly recommended for vacations with dogs.
You are instantly in nature, with meadows and forests in front of you, and can take wonderful walks.

Everything can be quickly reached by car, which you need.
In addition, there is a little shop in the village with fresh bread rolls, which is even open on Sundays.

We will definitely go on vacation there again.

Weekend Getaway

A very cozy place. Comfy beds and fresh, clean towels and linen. Free WiFi was a welcome service we were not expecting!

Vicinity of the holiday home: The lounges are very comfy and there are magazines, a TV, DVD machine, and some movies. All the DVD's were for kids however. Some for grown ups would be nice.

free time activities: We tried the Lindenhof restaurant in town, but the food took a VERY long time to get to us - which our host, Mr. Leger, had warned us of. The next day we ordered in some hamburgers, Pizza and steak from another nearby town, but it took also quite long to get to us and the Pommefrites were pretty horrible - chewy and stale!

shopping facilities: The town didn't seem to have much in the way of shops etc, but there were nearby towns which had this.

It doesn't get much better than this!

Total nice and very attentive landlords, we felt completely comfortable. The vacation apartment was very clean and tidy. It is cozy and functional. Even a clothes horse was procured at short notice: O). Our 3 kids were totally thrilled. There is also a nice selection of magazines, books, and tips for leisure activities. Service and price/performance ratio 150%. Thanks again!

Vicinity of the holiday home: Ruhige und landschaftlich reizvolle Lage, viel Wald in unmittelbarer Umgebung.

free time activities: Ideal zum Wandern, Reiten; auch Bademöglichkeiten, Tier- u. Freizeitpark, Sommerrodelbahn in näherer Umgebung. Mit dem Auto alles kein Problem.

shopping facilities: Im Ort selber gibt es einen kleinen Laden mit tägl.frischen Brötchen, Zeitungen u.s.w., auch am Sonntag geöffnet. In den nächsten Orten gibt es Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Supermarkt.

Here every wish is read from your eyes!

Super nice landlords, who take very good care of their guests!
Very fond of animals (3 dogs were not a problem).
The apartment is bigger than it seems at first glance and surprises with a great living area under the roof! It is clean and cozy.
There is plenty of reading material and films available for bad weather!
The price-performance ratio is great, we always like to come back and look forward to changes such as a 4-burner stove and a new entrance door (this and more is planned).

Vicinity of the holiday home: Ländlich gelegen, für uns (Reiter mit Hunden) optimal, da in der Nähe die Pferde untergestellt werden können!

free time activities: Reiten, Wandern und Radfahren sehr gut möglich, im nahen Büdingen sind noch andere Aktivitäten zu empfehlen!

shopping facilities: Ein kleiner Kiosk (Sonntags geöffnet) ist zu Fuß erreichbar, im Nachbarort ist ein Supermarkt. Büdingen ist auch nicht weit.

Very friendly, clean, and well-equipped

Here you can see that there is constantly something being renewed and modernized.
Everything is very clean and much larger than it seems from the outside.

Vicinity of the holiday home: Die Wohnung ist eigentlich ein Haus weil separat von dem Haus der Vermieter im Hof zwar direkt an der Hauptstrasse dennoch ruhig gelegen.

free time activities: Die Vermieter haben uns viele Unterlagen zu möglichen Unternehmungen in der Umgebung zur Verfügung gestellt

shopping facilities: im nächsten Ort gibt es einen Supermarkt, im Ort selbst ein Lädchen mit frischen Brötchen und allem was man so braucht (auch Sonntags)
