Very well and lovingly furnished house down to the smallest detail.
Underfloor heating in the ground floor and upstairs bathroom! Bathtub to relax in, coffee machine and Senseo machine available.
It is located in the Krummhörn in the district of Loquard between Emden and Greetsiel directly on the canal "Loquarder Tief".
With a wide view over meadows and fields, the house offers peace and relaxation all year round. Simply enjoy the undisturbed peace and quiet here. Take time to read and go for a walk. You simply have to feel good here. In the beautiful garden you can really enjoy the most beautiful time of the year.
The second outdoor terrace in the garden ensures that you can really enjoy the last rays of sunshine in the evening.
For the little guests there is a sandpit, two swings, a small football goal, a wooden train and a "rocking horse". Board games for young and old are available on request. A playground is nearby, approx. 150 m away.
The covered terrace is equipped with garden furniture, a s t r a n d c o r b , deck chairs, fire bowl and an outdoor fireplace that can be used as a barbecue. Here you can simply relax and let your eyes wander over the wide East Frisian fields. You can store your bicycles in the enclosed garden.
The house can accommodate up to 8 people (7 fixed beds + 1 toddler travel bed).

The holiday home is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac in a new housing estate of Loquard and directly at the canal "Loquarder Tief". Very suitable for anglers!
This settlement consists of a few holiday homes and normal detached houses.
The house has its own jetty with modern seating and, if desired, your own boat for exploring and for trips on the East Frisian inland waters.
Fishing from the property jetty, depending on the weather and water depth, is also a real pleasure for young and old.
The location is unspoilt and so you have a wonderful view over the East Frisian landscape from both terraces. You can watch the farmers tilling their fields or watch the deer running free in the fields here. You can also spot fish (sometimes jumping), ducks, swans and frogs here at the directly adjacent canal.
It is a good idea to use the adjacent field walking paths through the East Frisian fields. But you should also take a walk on the great dikes along the North Sea coast and enjoy the still clean, sometimes rough sea air. Loquard is one of the 19 villages in the municipality of Krummhörn, which lies in the far west of the East Frisian North Sea coast. Rural or farming structures characterise the landscape. Loquard is a historic terp village with an imposing church, a penthouse and a disused water mill. A local doctor is available in case of emergency.
Behind the Loquard dike is the Wadden Sea National Park, which is unique in Germany. The Wadden Sea and the adjacent "salt marshes" serve as breeding grounds for local birds. In spring and autumn, a fascinating spectacle can be observed here: Birds from all over the world make a stopover here on their long journeys. Also in the Wadden Sea, near the villages of Loquard and Campen, is the only mussel bank in Germany!

§ 4 Cancellation and Early Termination (1) If the tenant cancels (terminates) the contract before the start of the rental period without naming a substitute tenant who enters into the contract on the same terms, the following proportional rents (excluding final cleaning) are to be paid as compensation, deducting the expenses saved, unless re-renting is possible: Cancellation - up to 49 days before the start of the rental: 10% of the rental price - up to 35 days before the start of the rental: 30% of the rental price - up to 21 days before the start of the rental: 60% of the rental price - up to 14 days before the start of the rental: 90% of the rental price - otherwise (less than 14 days before the start of the rental) 100% of the rental price. Nevertheless, the landlord will attempt to re-rent the property. (2) The tenant can at any time prove lesser damage. (3) If the tenant terminates the stay prematurely, they remain obligated to pay the full rental price.

Since we have not yet taken a vacation in a holiday home in East Frisia, we stumbled upon Mrs. Kalms and her holiday homes while browsing the internet. When we arrived in Loquard, we were greeted very friendly by Mrs. Kalms. The facilities, location, and cleanliness of the holiday home left nothing to be desired. Honestly, we felt comfortable immediately. We have already booked again for next year. Just great.

Rest and relaxation sought...
...and found the holiday home Nordseesonne! That's how our vacation in Krummhörn can be summarized!
After several years of vacation in the Sielorten Carolinen-/Dornumersiel, we wanted to get to know a different "corner" of East Frisia and discovered this great accommodation in Loquard at short notice and were able to book it spontaneously.
Starting with the booking, the arrival, and the on-site support, you can tell that the landlords are people with heart and passion who really make an effort to offer their guests a great home for their vacation. I write "home" and not just accommodation because you feel at home from the first minute in this great house, tastefully furnished with everything you need, especially if, like us, you want to cook at home. Everything is available (even if we were too "stupid" to operate the extractor hood ;-) ), everything is cozy without being kitschy (as a couple, we had plenty of space). This way, you can also survive rainy times well in the house, especially the beautiful covered terrace and the garden with an unobstructed view of the canal and fields, as well as your own boat dock, should be mentioned here.
Unfortunately, we didn't get around to renting a boat and bicycles here (partly due to the weather, but also because we discovered so much in Krummhörn and were on the road a lot by car to "accomplish" everything, whether it was Emden, of course Greetsiel, the lighthouses Pilsum and Campen, and further tours along the East Frisian coast.
We were very happy to have decided on the region of Krummhörn and the town of Loquard and to have found the holiday home Nordseesonne this year at very short notice!
Thank you very much, dear Kalms family, we might become repeat offenders (maybe we'll try a different season)

Great vacation
We had a super, beautiful 2 weeks of relaxation. The vacation home is furnished with a lot of love. Nothing is missing. The children always had something to do because there is a table tennis table, swings, go-karts, a playground, water for fishing, a boat, and simply a lot of space for them. For us adults, it was simply peace and quiet. Very nice hosts. I can only recommend it and will probably plan another visit.

Once in the North Sea sun, again and again
We spent our second holiday in the North Sea Sun. Pure relaxation. Very quiet location, you can do everything but you don't have to do anything. Visit Emden and Aurich, go boating and cycling or just enjoy the garden and the jetty on the water and relax. The most important thing for us is the kind-hearted hosts, a house that is furnished with love and heart. The kitchen is excellently equipped. Dishes, cutlery and glasses like nowhere else. We would like to come back and wish the Kalms family all the best for the time being. Stay as cordial and above all healthy.

Absoluter Favorit
A beautiful inn. Once there and we already fell in love with the "North Sea sun." We are already planning our next vacation there. The house is lovingly, richly, and very cozily furnished. No wishes are left unfulfilled here. You feel at home. Absolute peace, your own garden with generous covering and private boat dock: simply perfect. Especially for nature lovers. The landlords are very nice, helpful, and uncomplicated. 5 stars are not enough!
