The detached villa is furnished in a modern and luxurious style. The property is located on the outskirts of the village. The domicile is also popular due to the view from the property of the sea and its sunny and secluded hillside location. Available for exclusive use are: sunshade, sun lounger, garden shower, barbecue facilities, terrace, pavilion, garden furniture, and Hollywood swing.
Location
Podstrana, 310 m above sea level. The villa is located on a 1,000 sqm enclosed garden plot with flowers, shrubs and trees, bounded by a fence. The landlord does not live in the house or on the property. Villa Aquarius is a luxuriously furnished house with an impeccably maintained garden of about 1,000 m2. The house is a duplex - it shares a common wall with the neighbouring house. The gardens are completely separate, and due to the location, orientation and the good and functional fence, you enjoy privacy. No one can see you; you may possibly hear the neighbours next door. If you like and want, you can be naked. The property is completely fenced. On the side where the other part of the house is, there is a completely opaque fence, rich in plants and flowers. The house is located at the end of the village, which gives it a beautiful view of the slopes of Split, the sea and the central Dalmatian islands. Also on the north side you have a view of the mountains above the house. The garden is immaculately maintained with Mediterranean plants and flowers, which contributes to the romantic and intimate atmosphere. Access is via a side road (asphalted). Parking on the property, on the street in front of the house and at a car park in the village (distance 30 m).

The entrance to your villa is on the ground floor and leads directly into the hallway via 20 steps. Living room with seating area, TV, DVD player, access to the terrace and sea view. Bedroom with 1 extra bed on couch/sofa. Bedroom with 1 double bed and ceiling fan. Kitchenette in the open-plan kitchen with dining area, electric cooker (ceramic hob, 4 rings), oven, extractor hood, dishwasher, fridge (freezer compartment), microwave, toaster, electric kettle, access to the terrace and equipped with all necessary utensils for your stay. Bathroom with shower, 1 washbasin, WC, hairdryer, window and towels and toiletries.
House rules
The hosting of parties or events is prohibited.
Smoking is forbidden in the premises, especially from 31 o'clock to 31 o'clock.

Well-insulated semi-detached house instead of a detached house
According to the lease agreement, we rented a standalone house, which turned out to be a semi-detached house. The description "standalone house" (without the word "duplex") was also used in our online booking and was only changed after we complained to the landlord. It has been described as a duplex since June 22, 2021. Analogous to the well-known motto "Without health, everything is nothing," for us, "Without peace and seclusion, everything is nothing." And it was very loud because the building is very soundproof and every noise from the other half of the semi-detached house could be heard. The south balcony of the neighboring house was directly adjacent to our bedroom window, so sleeping was out of the question because the teenagers who had rented the neighboring house were partying at night. To be able to sleep somewhat, we took the mattress out of the bed and carried it into the living room. In addition to the above problem, there is the issue with the 2nd. Bedroom significantly smaller but not negligible. The so-called 2nd bedroom is a storage room next to the kitchen, about 1.50m x 3m, with a narrow sofa bed. Due to chronic lack of sleep and disappointment over unfulfilled promises, we could not enjoy the beautiful view, the swimming pool, and the well-kept garden, and decided to leave a day early.

Everything was very clean and we wanted for nothing.

Perfect location, the view and the pool are a dream. The landlords are very friendly and pay very much attention to the privacy of their guests.
Everything is in the house and it is very clean.

Villa is very nice and very well equipped.
The pool is large and therefore ideal for swimming, unfortunately a bit cold when the weather is not that warm (24 C when arriving in August, but it heated up to 27 C after a few nice days).
You have a great view of Split, but you have to climb 55 steps from the parking lot to the house.
