Description
The holiday apartment built in 1724, renovated in 2023 and is rustic and in the typical country style furnished. The domicile is also popular because of the view over a panorama from the property and the quiet and sunny location at the edge of the woods and at the water. For common use are available: sunbathing area, parasol, sun lounger, children's playground, swing, sandpit, garden shower, grill possibility, terrace, garden furniture and fire place. The Note: paddle boats available in limited quantity with reservation without transport service. Please bring your own sheets and towels or order at booking.
Location
Gollmitz. The holiday apartement is located on a 2000 sqm, closed garden plot and water plot with meadow, flowers, bushes and trees, limited by a fence. The landlord lives only temporarily in a separate building on the property. The half-timbered house is a listed, functional water mill. There are a total of 5 holiday apartments there: BRA UCK 001, BRA UCK 002, BRA UCK 003 (each for 3 people), BRA UCK 004 (2 people), BRA UCK 005 (12 people). The apartments have been ecologically renovated with clay walls and hemp insulation. The mill room is a museum and at the same time a common room for celebrations with up to 50 people. There is also a common room for 24 people with a fireplace and television. The apartment is not suitable for groups. With a diameter of six meters, the water wheel is the largest in northern Germany. Events in 2023 on May 29, June 24, July 15, August 26, 2023. Since autumn 2015, a garden sauna with a hot tub has been available. The property is surrounded by a fence and the power. A suspension bridge takes you to the bivouac. The house is right on the stream, this is called Strom. The access goes via a side road (asphalted, length 300 m). Parking lot (for 8 cars) on the street in front of the house.

Main road 300 m. Children's playground 30 m. Natural hiking and cycling trails in the area, kilometers of canoe excursions are possible from the plot. High ropes course, adventure or canoe trips in the area.In summer: Naugartener See 3 km in Naugarten (beach 3 km in Naugarten with meadow and sand). diving in Feldberg 20 km. Naugarten: fishing 20 m and horse riding 3 km. tennis, water sports, boat rental each 10 km in Prenzlau.

We had an incredibly nice holiday in the water mill. The house has been restored and furnished with so much love. There is something to discover in every corner. Everything is super clean and the landlords are really great. Not only the house, but also the garden is designed with love. Everywhere there are cozy places to linger and relax. An oasis! We will be back!

This mill, restored with a lot of love and amazing perseverance, is always worth a visit. You should definitely use the in-house small brewery with the delicious beer. We were 8 friends and stayed for a weekend. Everyone was excited. Kudos to the hosts.
