Our holiday home is situated in a beautiful quiet location.
Location:
In the forest with a view of a clearing. Unfortunately, you cannot see the lake, which is about 150 m away, from the house. Garitz lies on the edge of the Fläming. Ideal for cycling and hiking. Garitz is the gateway to the Fläming Nature Park.
But the Wörlitz Garden Kingdom, the cultural and Bauhaus city of Dessau and the Luther City of Wittenberg are also within easy reach from here. You can walk along the Luther Trail from here.
The Elbe is about 15 minutes away by car. The Elbe is a dream for paddlers. You can swim and fish at the nearby lake. The Silent Corner Western Ranch (2 km away) offers all ambitious riders an attractive offer. A restaurant and hotel can be reached on foot in 10 min.

Please note:
The house is a non-smoking house. Of course, smoking is allowed outside in front of the house. Please be aware of forest fire hazards, if any.
If pets are brought along, this requires the consent of the landlord. Pets are not allowed in the two bedrooms. Furthermore, we ask you to bring a sleeping place (basket, blanket, etc.) for the pet, as well as food bowls.
Arrival time:
On the day of arrival from 14:30.
Departure time:
On the day of departure until 10:00 am.
Key:
You will receive the key on the day of arrival. It will then be on site or handed over. Please inform us of your expected arrival time by telephone on the day of arrival. Tel: 0171/7424347
Bed linen, towels and WLAN are included. The WLAN internet is activated via a mobile router with fast internet up to 4 GB per month, thereafter throttling.

Barrier-free.
The hut is barrier-free, but it is located in the forest. There is an asphalt path nearby. However, this does not go directly to the house. On our property there is a paved path from the garden door to the entrance and a ramp to the terrace. In front of the garden door there is only an unpaved path. This leads approx. 15 m to the paved gravel road, which meets the asphalt road in the course of approx. 80 m.
There are three smaller doorsteps of 1 - 2 cm in the cottage.

Short holiday in Garitz
As I could not travel to the Baltic Sea due to special circumstances, I was forced to take a holiday within Saxony-Anhalt. So I discovered the log cabin Rudolf in Garitz , was informed very friendly and in detail about the local conditions and arrived a little later with four small children. The house is very well maintained, the rooms very spacious and the furnishings absolutely child-friendly.I can very well imagine taking a holiday in the forest again soon, and can highly recommend the cottage.
