Description
As a residential old building, the Waldhaus NOVA stands in an isolated location on a private property of 2.3 ha (of which approx. 350 sqm are fenced in), which is already in the biosphere reserve, bird sanctuary and landscape conservation area. This is a woodland property which directly adjoins the village of Groß Breese. Due to the unique location of the half-timbered house in the mixed forest, you and your four-legged friends can go on endless walks directly from the front door. In addition, the Elbe River is only 6 km away by car

On the covered terrace (approx. 13 sqm) you can start the day relaxed with a nice breakfast. Enjoy the birdsong around you and experience nature in its full beauty. The terrace is equipped with a lounge set and a gas barbecue. From here you enter the cottage (approx. 45 sqm) and find yourself directly in the open kitchen with the adjoining living area. The kitchenette is equipped with a 2-plate cooker, mini oven, microwave and a coffee machine. The living area shines with a comfortable sofa, which can also be used as a sofa bed, as well as a TV, a dining area and a cosy fireplace corner for warm winter evenings
If you want to treat yourself to some rest and relaxation after a long or cold day, simply use the soothing warmth of the infrared cabin with integrated light therapy. The small wellness area has fresh towels ready for you and also offers two stools.
In the adjoining bedroom with blackout curtains you can spend relaxing nights. The electric blankets offer a further opportunity for well-being so that you can immediately jump into a pre-warmed bed (double bed: 1.80 x 2.00 m)
In principle, the offer is aimed at all nature lovers and friends of the forest. However, we only rent the holiday home to dogs and their staff, which is why the furnishings are oriented towards the needs of dogs (ridgi pads, bowls, towels, leash, treats, etc.). We ask for the understanding of all non-dog owners.

The NOVA forest house is located in a development area of Groß Breese, a village with approx. inhabitants, in the district of Prignitz or in the north-east of the state of Brandenburg. The property is part of a natural forest area in dreamlike seclusion.
Due to the unique location in the biosphere reserve, bird sanctuary and landscape conservation area, you can enjoy nature undisturbed, listen to the birds and watch them nibbling
The occasional encounter with a deer or fox cannot be ruled out, but that's what makes it so unique for us
The immediate proximity to the Elbe provides access to the water and further endless walks
The next larger town of Wittenberge, with a population of approx. 1,000, forms a historically important railway junction
This means that journeys from Hamburg, Berlin or Schwerin are easily possible by train
Wittenberge offers all essential supply facilities for general and special needs as well as bowling, two swimming pools and various gastronomic offers
The district town of Perleberg is about 10 km away and Bad Wilsnack about 15 km.

Due to its isolated location, the Waldhaus NOVA is not fully developed. The water is drawn from the house's own well and we provide you with 9 litres of drinking water when you move in.
Various books and games provide entertainment.
There are also dog bowls and 2 Ridgi pads (size 2: external dimensions: 103 x 75 cm, internal dimensions: 52 x 39 cm; size 4: 130 x 106 cm, internal dimensions: 67 x 53 cm).
The costs include: Taxes, electricity, water, dog, bed linen, set of towels per person (2 guest towels approx. 30 x 50 cm, 2 towels approx. 50 x 100 cm, 1 shower towel approx. 70 x 140 cm, 1 bath towel approx. 100 x 150 cm, 1 towel per dog), 1 basket of wood.
Electricity for charging and operating an electric car is not included. Charging an electric car with the house electricity is prohibited.

An idyll to unwind
We were at Waldhaus Nova for the 5th time...... what else should we say?
Our vacation was pure relaxation again. The location is unique. The house..... simply great.

Simply very beautiful
We were at the Waldhaus Nova for the first time. Definitely not the last time. It is simply dreamy, the location and the surroundings. Our Schnauzer felt very comfortable, and we did too. The amenities are very good, everything you need is there. We found the week very nice. You can relax wonderfully.

Lovingly and perfectly equipped idyll in the forest
I searched for and found a secluded place to unwind in nature with adventure potential for my dog! It was less a rented holiday home and more a visit with friends, thanks to the warm personal welcome and the nice communication beforehand and during our stay. The house is perfectly equipped, super clean, and very cozy; we missed nothing and felt very comfortable. There are many suggestions and tips for excursions, and especially the Elbe with its great sandy beaches has pleased us. Large and small walks directly from the house are also possible in many beautiful variations, and there is a small course for the furry noses.
So an unrestricted recommendation from us, we definitely want to come back, you have created a truly wonderful place!

Waldhaus Nova
A very well-equipped, clean holiday home for a nice, relaxing vacation. The property is well-maintained and beautifully situated, very suitable for people and dogs who love nature. We were warmly welcomed with our four-legged friend and well-informed. There were suggestions for beautiful hikes and small excursions. We would love to come back.

Super beautiful holiday idyll for dog and human
We had a really great vacation with our dog in this accommodation. The house is located in the middle of the forest in a true (often this is just stated) secluded location. Everything is lovingly furnished and very high-quality equipped. Everything you need for a relaxing vacation is there. You can take great excursions or just chill in the garden and watch the birds (there are plenty of them). There was even a personal welcome, which we thought was really great. As a farewell, there was a joint walk and nice conversations. It will definitely not be our last vacation at the Waldhaus Nova.

Dear friends of nature, 2 Hamburg souls have fulfilled their dream and can escape the big city every now and then. After a complete renovation, we would now like to share our little oasis with you. Not only we have dreams - dream with us and treat yourselves to a little relaxation, nature and forest idyll! Finally, a little heartfelt story about why the house means so much to us: We had an old giant schnauzer lady who loved nature. Unfortunately, she was not very compatible with other dogs, so we were always looking for unusual places and holiday homes. At some point we came up with the idea of buying something ourselves. So we searched for 1.5 years until we fell in love. Unfortunately, our companion passed away in April 2018, so she will never spend time with us on location. It is therefore all the more important for us to revive the Waldhaus NOVA - for her, for us and for everyone who wants to enjoy nature with their dogs undisturbed!
