Beautiful holiday

We were accommodated in the cozy Gendarmenstube and found a beautiful, cozy, and very clean holiday apartment in a quiet, idyllic, and nature-friendly location. The apartment is very well equipped; we lacked nothing. We had a nice contact with the landlords. We explored many sights, recommended by the guest information in the apartment, by bike or car and saw a lot of beautiful things, but not everything yet. The beach walks, not far from the vacation apartment, were also very relaxing.

Quiet time out at the Baltic Sea

A beautifully furnished vacation apartment (Gendarmenstube) on the ground floor of the "Old Customs House."
We were a couple in the vacation apartment for 3 nights and felt very comfortable.
A great bathroom with a shower, a kitchen that had everything we needed, and enough space for two people.
The elevated terrace that belongs to the ground floor apartment is fantastic, as it offers a lovely view of the Baltic Sea and Denmark while relaxing and dining. Although the Old Customs House is located directly on a "road," it is very quiet there; only a few cars pass by to get to the next village. We had very nice telephone contact with the landlord Thomas and later also met him personally at the accommodation. Thank you for the belated birthday gift; my girlfriend was very happy.

Magnificent view - great apartment - great landlords

The lovingly restored customs house is divided into 2 apartments. We stayed in the cozy Gendarmenstube.

The location of the house is perfect, with a view of the fjord - wooden terrace included for enjoyment. The beach is within walking distance.

The furnishings leave nothing to be desired, the kitchen is generously equipped with all the equipment - even including a salad spinner :-)

The landlords are super nice, contact and interaction - everything is extremely uncomplicated. Thank you very much to you, dear Antje and dear Thomas,
we felt very comfortable and will definitely come back.

Holiday for relaxation and being active

We felt very comfortable in the beautiful vacation apartment. On the cold days, we enjoyed the sauna and otherwise went on lovely bike rides. For shopping, the farm shop in Dollerup is highly recommended and an excellent beer is brewed in the distillery there. We will gladly come back.

There was nothing missing!

A really beautiful holiday apartment where nothing was missing. The bright and spacious apartment, with a view of the Baltic Sea, is very tastefully decorated with a lot of attention to detail. One wouldn't even guess that pets are welcome here, as the entire inventory looks very clean and well-maintained. This may be due to the fact that the previous tenants were very careful with the furnishings, but the cleaning staff also did a very good job. We were very pleased with the welcome drinks and the treat for our dog! :-) The proximity to the beach, the extremely quiet area, and the very friendly contact with the landlords also appealed to us. If the opportunity arises, we would love to come back.

Gendarmenstube: Policemen's room

Very nice and cozy holiday apartment with two terraces for sunny or shady stays. One of them with a beautiful view of the fjord. The natural beach can be reached on foot in 5 minutes. Even in summer, you can find a quiet spot to linger. The holiday apartment is generously equipped. Even for electric vehicles, there are two wall boxes available for charging. The landlords are very friendly and give tips for excursions.

Gendarmenstube in the old customs house-great!

The Gendarmenstube in the Altes Zollhaus is highly recommended! Especially the fantastic view from the terrace of the Flensburg Fjord impressed us. The accommodation is very nice and functional and was spotlessly clean. An atmosphere in which we felt very comfortable and relaxed. Beautiful bike rides, wonderful swimming in the fjord, and dreamy sunsets in the nearby beach lounge... what more could you want!

Restful

Beautiful building from the outside. Modern, friendly and tasteful furnishings. Very friendly and helpful landlords. Everything was available in the kitchen, even a mixer and baking paper. Wonderful view of the fjord. Short and beautiful walk to the secluded beach. I was totally thrilled and will recommend the flat to others.

Highly recommended!

We (2 adults, 1 child and 1 dog) spent 3 relaxing days in this cute, very well equipped holiday flat with an unbeatable view of the Flensburg Fjord. Here you have everything you need to relax
Flensburg city centre is only 20 minutes away by car
We felt very comfortable and would like to thank the super nice landlords for the all-round care! We will be happy to come back!

A wonderful short holiday

I enjoyed the 4 days in the Gendarmenstube very much: the very high quality flat furnished with great attention to detail, the magnificent view from the living room over the Flensburg Fjord and Denmark, idyllic walks on the beach, the lovely hilly landscape by the sea (a joy for the soul !), interesting excursions by bike and car, delicious food and the nice landlord couple - I will gladly come again !

Really very nice and high quality furnished apartment for 2 persons with dog.
A great view from the living room over the fjord to Denmark.
We really enjoyed the evenings in the sauna followed by an evening by the fireplace.

Unfortunately, one is already dependent on a car. But you can get from Denmark via Flensburg to Kappeln very quickly

Beautiful holiday flat with Baltic Sea view

We spent a wonderful week in the Gendarmenstube in September. My husband and I were totally thrilled with the flat from the very first moment, super clean, just to feel good.... and in the kitchen ..really everything there ...just like at home...you don't miss anything....
The only point...the bathroom is very small...and you can hear the street that passes in front of the house, but during the day very....at night is nice and quiet....
The view into the countryside or towards the Baltic Sea is wonderful ....
But you definitely need a car to visit all the excursions, restaurants and shopping tips that Fam. Voigt has listed and recommended so wonderfully...
We did that and were really happy
We had never experienced that before!

Altes Zollhaus Gendarmenstube

Those who have preferences close to nature, who cultivate ideas in need of peace and quiet, who are looking for an unobstructed view of the fjord as the prerequisites for a successful holiday, will find the ideal conditions in the Alter Zollhaus. Accompanied and unobtrusively supported by a caring landlord couple, we were able to enjoy relaxation in an atmospheric holiday flat with generous furnishings and a thoughtful ambience. We felt very comfortable and would like to thank the Voigt family.

Everything is fine!

The holiday flat is very tastefully furnished to a high standard; the furnishings also leave nothing to be desired. The terrace at the living room invites you to have breakfast in the sun and offers a fantastic view of the beautiful garden and the sea, all the way to Denmark. To relax in the evening sun, there is another terrace on the other side of the house. We were absolutely thrilled!
Via an idyllic path next to the garden, you can reach the pretty little church and the wild beach, which we mostly had to ourselves. We didn't use the Baltic Sea cycle path, which passes directly by the house, because there is no cycle path or footpath for the first few kilometres, but there is certainly car and motorbike traffic, especially at weekends. On the other hand, there are many attractive excursion destinations in the immediate vicinity and the "Odin Fischer" in Langballigau were our first port of call almost every day. We spent a wonderful week at the Baltic Sea in wonderful weather. The Voigt couple gave us a warm welcome, including water and flens to welcome us. We will be happy to come back!

Most beautiful accommodation ever

I found everything one could wish for. A perfectly equipped flat, ultra cosy with a lot of attention to detail. Simply feel at home - even in bad weather. High-quality and tasteful furnishings. Beautiful, modern bathroom!

The location is uniquely beautiful and you can see the Baltic Sea and Denmark from the living room
The landlords were easy to reach and regularly looked after my well-being. Everything was very personal and familiar

This was my second time there and I will definitely come back.

Best recreation in beautiful surroundings and great apartment.

We spent a very relaxing holiday in a beautiful setting and enjoyed the great apartment with all its advantages (quiet location with wonderful fjord views, perfect and well-thought-out facilities, fireplace, infrared sauna). We liked the natural beach below the house, and there are many other sandy beaches nearby, with plenty to see in the area. Having an e-bike or car is recommended. Thanks to the Voigt family for the friendly phone calls beforehand and your hospitality and the many tips on-site. We have already booked for late summer - that says it all.

My wire-haired dachshund and I enjoyed our days in this perfectly and lovingly furnished apartment, as well as the view of the Flensburg Fjord. The surroundings offered us the opportunity for extensive walks. The Gendarmes' Room will see us again!

Wonderful oasis of tranquility

Quiet and somewhat secluded and almost directly on the Baltic Sea, this wonderful apartment is located.
Our check-in/check-out went completely smoothly, as there is a key safe.
The apartment is very well thought out and lovingly furnished.
In the kitchen, there is really everything you need, even for big cooking sessions.
We were especially happy about the fireplace and the private sauna.
The bed has great mattresses (split). There is more than enough closet space available. There is also space for a baby bed. Dogs are probably allowed. We were two in the apartment. In the living room, there is a sofa that can be used for overnight stays. There is even a washing machine - surely helpful for guests with children.

The path to the sea leads directly past the house. Passing by the beautiful church, you can reach the natural beach comfortably in 5 minutes. From the breakfast spot, you can see the sea. In the warm season, you can choose from 2 terraces. One urgently needs a car. The organic store nearby is recommended.

Perfect accommodation with or without a dog.

A newly furnished, very lovingly and cozy apartment for ideally 2 to a maximum of 4 people. Quietly located with a view of the sea and a beautiful garden. The beach is within walking distance in a few minutes (however, dogs are not allowed here. A small dog beach can be found a few 100m away). Two small balconies with chairs and tables, cushions, and a sun umbrella also invite you to relax. Good restaurants and shopping options can be found about 10 minutes away by car.

Unfortunately, the garden is (still) not fenced. This is information for dog owners.

Both the owner and the manager are very friendly, helpful, and make great efforts to ensure that you feel comfortable from the first day. A heartfelt thank you once again :)
